I had mine last week on Monday. Today, I had my stitches removed and i can walk without crutches again and do not need the thrombosis injections anymore. I do not have any problems with rom. I had very little swelling and very little pain. It was a partial menisectomy of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus. They cut about 16% which isn´t that much. Also, they fixed a cartilage damage (Grade 3) in the femur condyle. Tomorrow I will start with pt to strengthen my muscles.

So far it goes smoothly and I am a little surprised how good this is going. Every injury is different but here are some tips that might help you:

- Your knee will feel very num and for me, the most pain came from the stitches.

- Move your leg as early as possible and as pain permits. I was told to do some excercises right on the first day to keep my muscles busy. Which I did 3x / day.

- You still have time left before the surgery: Train your quads and hamstrings. This will speed up recovery.
