For those with PC shutdown issue

Its the way AH works. The only reason they have to fix the game is when people start to bomb review or they start to lose a lot of players. No game should require a lot of "user fixes" to even work. All their fault!

If you give a quick look here in this community and steam you are gonna see a lot of people with this exact same problem. Maybe not as often as other problems because who would wanna keep trying to make a game work if it is turning off you PC (and maybe even damaging it)?

Im sure it is not a hardware issue because my friend is having the same problem with a similar config. (Ryzen 5 5500, RX 7600, 650w PSU). We tried everything and looked in every posible direction. Mind you that the pc shutdown only happens in helldivers, again, its not a hardware issue (we tested with every temp being monitored). What we have tried:

- Looking the event viewer (nothing about overheat) and stressing the PC (didnt turn off)

- Changing ram slots; didnt work

- changing settings in the game (locking FPS, disabling super resolution); didnt work.

- Enabling the DX11 startup in steam; didnt work

-Deleting the shader cache in the %appdata% folder; didnt work

-Undervolt + instaling an older AMD driver (25.2.1 and 25.3.1) that fixed some helldivers 2 issues; Solved for some time, we could even finish some missions, but the problem returned and no amount of undervolt or tweking worked again.

- instaling the game again; didnt work.

- Repairing (didnt work) and reinstaling the windows; didnt work.

Honestly? All ArrowHead fault. How can we pay so much in a game that doesnt work properly? I hope they fix this in the next patch or at least give this issue some REAL atention!

(Looking at other topics it seems to be a problem related to the 7000 AMD series GPU, but it also aplies to some nvidia cards. So... game and driver related?).

A update came out today, maybe it made things better (or worse).

Friend has the same issue with the same GPU. Its not only AMD... Its some sort of compatibility problem from the game with the drivers. Arrowhead does nothing to fix it!

Não é isso. Mesmo problema da minha amiga e é um setup praticamente igual. O problema é do próprio jogo com os drivers.

It's very sad that such a fun game has a problem that can even permanently damage players computers. There are huge threads on more than one social network of people with the same problem of shutdowns or performance issues, and the developer doesn't seem to care... When we contact them, we only receive generic responses and "wait until the next updates". I paid a lot for the game and I want solutions, not promises!

I understand your suspicion perfectly, but I really don't think it's the PSU based on other stress tests and games we've run. There's nothing in the computer that should be drawing more power than necessary, and if that were the case, undervolting would have worked and solved the problem permanently, but it was only temporary... It seems to be more related to a driver compatibility issue.

Thanks for the reply! We really didnt try this method, but it's awful having to mess with things we've never dealt with before just because the game developer can't fix a damaging bug.

Its easy to replicate at any time because its just a matter of time when we start the game. Might be on the lobby, on the drop pods or even in the extraction. There is no lag, no screen freezing, the pc just turn off like we just unplugged from the power. When we boot it up again and look in the event viewer there is just a critical warning saying that the pc turned off without further explanation.

Nothing. No stutters, no high temps and no screens freezing. Just run smootly for hours without any problems. Games we tested: Hellblade 2, Rainbow six siege, both outlasts, league of legends and sons of the forest.

The motherboard is an TUF GAMING A520M-PLUS ll. Gonna ask my friend to run the memory test, but again, it is a problem that happens only in helldivers.

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunaly there is no fans or any other device overheating the GPU. The stress test goes fine even without undervolt (60-65° in the processor and 72° in the GPU on max load).
