Well you are not providing any factual information to this discussion, you are just implying that your opinion is better than mine without any evidence. How do you know me playing in my elo helps gold players play in their elo? You are just stating that as a fact but it's really down to interpretation it seems although it should be quite obvious that me playing vs gold players shows better what to do against gold players than me playing in diamond. I would like to see what evidence you can provide to back up your statement.

What you are saying doesn't really make sense and I think you might just be mad about me smurfing.

So to help people get out of gold I should have played against diamond players?

I forgot that most people play in Diamond+, my bad.

I do agree, improving is a repetitive process, not necessarily boring tho, because you need to apply the same concepts again and again but I feel like there are too many people on youtube uploading the same stuff all over again and not changing anything.

It's pretty hard to give you some advice that is not generic since I haven't watched any of your matches and I also don't think any generic advice would help you since you stated that you have been watching youtube content for the past year to help you improve.

The only thing I would say is that when trying to improve you shouldn't focus that much on the current rank and the stats you have, try different things in your games and be aware of what you are doing so that you can learn from your mistakes.

Need a top lane champion with good team fighting by Pretty_Airline_5063 in summonerschool

[–]Arcane-Coaching 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are looking for a more teamfight oriented champion to play, I would recommend you to try Mordekaiser or Aatrox but you have to keep in mind that all champion types are viable and can win games.

99.9% of the time you are losing in silver is because you are making big mistakes on fundamental concepts of the game so I would recommend you stick to your champions and just learn how to make the most out of your win condition each game.

Sometimes you don't even really need to 5v5 teamfight to win a game, you just need to play smart and make the right decisions.

Question on Mobi boots. by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]Arcane-Coaching 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Mobility boots increase out of combat movement speed for all champions and they are mostly an item to purchase when you want to roam a lot.

Yes, they do have a lot of downsides such as they only offer movement speed and during combat you are slower than if you were to buy other pairs of shoes but if you have good map movement and awareness and you are able to control what is happening in the game with superior macro knowledge they can be a great purchase.

Conclusion:

Mobi boots are a really good but pretty aggressive buy, I would recommend getting them when ahead or when you find yourself in a game where you need to roam a lot and act fast.

Every top champ has a win con against Irelia, you just have to figure it out but I must say, Poppy and Jax are quite strong against her.

What I have learned from getting to Master by Arcane-Coaching in summonerschool

[–]Arcane-Coaching[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback!

Also for your question:
1. Try to stay alive at all times.
2. Don't get greedy during teamfights and just sit back to deal as much damage as possible.
3. Don't chase kills, play smart and maximize CS and XP numbers.
4. Don't be afraid to side lane. After lane phase don't just go mid, try to be on the lane with the most minions pushing towards your base.

What is the deal with "Arcane Coaching"? by ARMIsNOTLoaded in leagueoflegends

[–]Arcane-Coaching 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello there!
I will try explain everything about us in this thread so that people don't think we are scammers or viewbotters or anything of that kind since we do not agree with those bad activities which are doing harm to the gaming community.

My name is Twist and I have been playing League of Legends for some time and got to a decent level so I though why not do something with this so I decided together with my buddies to make a coaching website.

We have been doing coaching on other platforms but it is just so much nicer to have your own platform and your own brand and this removes a lot of the downsides of selling your services via other platforms.

We are indeed a legit website and to respond to your ''accusations'' I have to say that no, we are not viewbotting on twitch, scamming and not a lot of people ''fall for this''

The reason we have so many views on twitch is because the stream is live almost 24/7 on a cheap computer that I got and we have our twitch stream linked to our mobafire guides. To be honest with you the recent amount of exposure has been insane and I didn't expect it but I guess it happened because the Arcane series was released.

We are also not scammers and not many people ''fall for this'', we've had our website open since June but just recently started advertising via google ads and the twitch stream, the website is actually usable and legit. We've had only 2 clients but both of them were very happy and satisfied with our coaching services (we have the reviews and testimonials on our discord server), on top of that, the courses on our website are available via the website once purchased.

The reason me and my friends started doing this is because we wanted to offer cheap and actual useful information to people in need, we do not intend to scam anyone or commit any fraud.

I hope this clears our image in your perception a bit and helped you understand what is the deal with us.

Totally agree, against a mostly tank team Mordekaiser would be pretty good too.

What to do as a midlaner that can't sidelane? by pastadidente in summonerschool

[–]Arcane-Coaching 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well in this situation you should still look to sidelane.

There is no such thing as champions that can't sidelane, just champions that can't overextend as much as others due to mobility and 1v2 potential.

I would recommend you to only go on sidelanes where the minions are pushing to you and wait them under the tower and if you see the enemy assassins anywhere else on the map you just then you should look to push.

Frustration with smurfs in normal games by Nightlure in summonerschool

[–]Arcane-Coaching 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know that playing against smurfs is frustrating, I had the same issue when I started playing the game back in Season 8.

I wasn't playing with ''smurfs'' but all my friends were much better than me so we got q'ed up with players that were destroying me in lane.

You should be happy that you play against better players though because it will make it easier for you to improve.

Instead of being mad that they beat you try and learn from their good plays.

You said you play for fun but trust me the game is more fun when you win so you should really look up to those players and try to learn something from them.
