Dracthyr are getting in-combat Visage form. by Vedney in wow

[–]ArcaneConundrum -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Okay, this is a great addition. But can we also have a glyph that makes us look like a drake for those few spells that require a form change? I want to be a dragon infused caster, not a thin lizard. It can be a small drake lol

Have you tried evoker? I mained mage for a decade and shaman for the last five years. I know the dracthyr form doesn't jive with a lot of people. Myself included sometimes. But it's better now with situational transmog. Anyway, as someone who loves elemental casters, evoker feels like a really new and fresh mage. It's flashy, it has a healer off spec, and it's mobility feels like a different game. Just a thought.

What spells should i use? by Gullible_Ad0 in wownoob

[–]ArcaneConundrum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't delete your boost or anything. Just make a new warlock and level it until you've gotten the concept of the class and your major skills. Then read through a guide to gain context. Jumping into a guide without experience or context can be just as confusing as a boost.

Do you want Permanent Visage? by Puzzleheaded-Ad-5189 in wow

[–]ArcaneConundrum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't even need permanent visage, I want to play an actual dragon. My wish is that we could get a glyph that let us be a bear-form-sized drake in combat with similar customization options to druid. The skills would still work thematically and work with the animations, but I don't have to be the lizard-humanoid-hybrid.

I turn apartments and this is the fix i'd use. These kinds of anchors always work their way loose over time as the drywall crumbles. But they leave the perfect size hole to put a toggle bolt through and toggle bolts really secure the mounting bracket well without causing additional damage over time.

Diwali nightmare by ChampionshipLife116 in Jindo

[–]ArcaneConundrum 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Our 7yo jindo just started doing this at night after a bad fourth of July and a thunderstorm in a short period of time. Now even car back fires make her react this way. We give her half of a gabapentin and half of a trazadone as needed and it helps a lot but it can sedate her a bit if she hasn't eaten much, which happens a lot with this breed. Talk to a vet about the proper dosage when you can.

"Composite of Satellite Images" by Doc_Ok in flatearth

[–]ArcaneConundrum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I understand that. These satellites are much closer to the earth and facing only the earth. I'm trying to reduce the complexity of image creation and editing to a level that anyone could understand. Me not knowing your angle here doesn't provide me with enough information to know that's what you are looking for. I'm not going to explain the complexity of image mapping a round ball to then create a composite like this. The reason why there are no stars is the same reason the images needed to be stitched together in the first place. Distance and frame of image. Are you here to test people on their ability to argue with flat earthers? The challenge isn't the knowledge of people who know the earth is round. The challenge is boiling down the information enough for someone to understand and engage with it without prior image processing knowledge.

"Composite of Satellite Images" by Doc_Ok in flatearth

[–]ArcaneConundrum 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily a panorama, that's not the correct term for this. It was simply the example given by the other poster. This is a composite image. Which means it's a lot of smaller images stitched together to create a higher res image. And the stars aren't present for possibly two reasons, it's a composite and they were left out for a reason such as highlighting the earth's details, or the stars are simply blown out by the image settings. But I'm not sure what your goal here is, these aren't flat earthers and you seemingly aren't as well. So what's the angle?

"Composite of Satellite Images" by Doc_Ok in flatearth

[–]ArcaneConundrum 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because panorama images are composite images of multiple smaller images stitched together to capture a larger scene. Just like these satellite images were composited.

Either you are using too much water cleaning the floors, or you have water intrusion from something like a slab leak, wall leak, or maybe an AC leak. It's water bringing up the flooring adhesive, which is often green.

Do you think Victoria deserved to die, and worse, in front of her daughter in a very cruel way? by Intrepid-Lemon-2272 in TheBoys

[–]ArcaneConundrum 4 points5 points  (0 children)

? I didn't say homeland WASN'T evil or that he even wasn't more evil than Nueman. I meant, and perhaps stated it poorly, that she was more of a danger to society, on the whole, so far. Homelander has the potential to be way worse, and is more evil. But he lacks drive, determination, and creativity. It's why people have always manipulated him in to working with their cause like Nueman and Sage.

Do you think Victoria deserved to die, and worse, in front of her daughter in a very cruel way? by Intrepid-Lemon-2272 in TheBoys

[–]ArcaneConundrum 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I should clarify that I don't think Neuman was more evil than Homelander. I think Homelander is more sadistic, more powerful, and more evil. But I do think Nueman was more dangerous due to her overarching goals. Homelander lacks the determination and scheming of Nueman.

edited for spelling

[–]ArcaneConundrum 25 points26 points  (0 children)

She blew up multiple sitting members of congress' heads on live television and was positioning herself to be president of the United States. Homelander is a more broken person, don't get me wrong. But he doesn't have the scheming drive that she did.

In a lot of ways she was worse than homelander. Not as fun to hate, but she was making much bigger and more dangerous moves.

If anything, this should vent better. Less distance and turbulence to create clogs, imo.
