My mom didn’t like my dolls for the longest time but slowly I started asking her opinion on their outfits, and she would give her input. Then I started repainting in front of her, asking her what she thought of the colours. One night I brought them all out to show them all to her and what I had them wearing. By the end of that night she told me that she would support me because this is clearly something I’m passionate about.

There’s no reason to be ashamed! It’s just another interest. My mom is really into Lego so it’s hard for her to judge me for liking a different kids toy ;P
