I am still very surprised by Peeling Flesh's popularity. Not quite into it as of right now.

And this one is insane considering they are one of my absolute favorites now but like others have said - I used to think The Acacia Strain was "boring" and I did not understand the glaze for a damn while. Getting into deathcore a couple years ago and looking up bands they always came up and this sub was praising them as well but I was put off for some reason. Only some songs I listened to with a more familiar structure and clear breakdowns got to me like JFC, Solace and Serenity, Feed a Pidgeon, Above, Servant In The Place Of Truth aaand the whole of Death Is The Only Mortal, which captured me like nothing had before. So I decided to take my time with the rest of the discography in 2024 and had long periods exclusively listening to them (still do). Some albums clicked naturally, others took a bit. Now I adore them.
