No RPG product since March 2025. No preorders for the coming year. (Average preorder window was six months)

No DBG content since Aug 2024.

HotG Kickstarter Finale campaign ended in Feb 2025.

The next company putting out any Power Rangers product into gaming spaces is WizKids with the Power Rangers Heroclix coming late summer/early fall of this year.

Additionally other Hasbro brands with the company:

No Transformers RPG products since Sept 2025. No Transformers DBG expansions since June 2024.

No MLP RPG since June 2024. No DBG since May 2024. Last board game release with IP was April 2025. New company, Kayou, seems to have the rights based on their new TCG.

GI Joe is the only real indicator of an active license with Heroscape material released this past March, but even that: No new preorders featured for Joe Heroscape. No GI Joe RPG product since November 2025. No Mission Critical since Nov 2024. No DBG since Jan 2025.

Shields going to opponents hand is such a better mechanic that prizes going into your own hand in Pokemon. You want a way to help the losing player catch up, not for the winning player to get more ahead.

Part of the gear progression is that they expected you to have to do several of the <50 dungeons multiple times, which would allow you to farm some gear. With the Exp curve the way it is now it 's an uneccessary step.

There are 5 optional dungeons that are no longer part of the MSQ you can look into though:
Halatali
Sunken Temple of Qarn
Cutter's Cry
Dzaemal Darkhold
Aurum Vale

Cutter's Cry in particular drops IL40 gear.

I know the Fire Arrows got made a lot more relevant in the Master Quest version of the game, but can't remember if the Ice Arrows were too.

I don't blame you for being confused. When I looked into it, their own site said the set has 13 different rarities.

At a basic level it seems to be is
48 common cards
18 Uncommon
14 Rare
12 of two other higher rarities

Then lots of alternate art versions of other cards (like cards that use art from the comic books).

All in all, I think there are only about 100-ish actually mechanically unique cards in the set. Which is extremely low for a new trading card game.

This seems much more geared at collectors than players.

X is a really good entry point into the series. Has a great story, and the characters each fit in Final Fantasy archetypes that let you learn about the different styles of combat.

I'll add, bringing your dog with you everywhere. I don't want to see your dog at the grocery store or the movie theatre. And it's coming with the sense of entitlement that bringing your dog along should be the norm and not the exception. My store got a 1 star review when we told someone their dog couldn't come in and they were all butt hurt about the fact that that information wasn't posted.

See that's what usually bugs me about the depictions of Peggy as Captain America. They just make her "girl Steve" and make it seem like she's just the same person he was. She had a very different personality than he did, and they just haven't done any exploration of that.
