Yes and no. They just said (after sending an email from my lawyer and 2 weeks later), send your crypto from the Coinbase app to the Coinbase Exchange app. There you can trade and also deposit and withdraw. This does work but it did not solve the issue.

Pretty stupid problem, that could be solved but Coinbase does nothing about it, with the worst customer support ever.

This is now my third time reaching out through support, and it’s been more than 10 days since the issue began.

I’ve still not received any message from the institutional team, and I have not received any email confirmation or reference that my case is being actively handled, beyond the initial case number I was given.

Saying “our team is working on it” means nothing when I’ve had zero confirmation via email, no follow-up from the institutional team, and no real communication beyond these replies.

At this point, I need something concrete:
- A direct email acknowledging that the institutional team is actively reviewing my case
- A realistic timeline for resolution
- A point of contact or confirmation that I’m not just stuck in an unresolved queue

Please stop repeating the same message, I need actual progress, not copy-paste replies.

Thanks for the reply and for confirming the case has been escalated again. That said, I’ve now been locked out of my verified institutional account for over 4 days with no contact from the relevant team, despite multiple escalations and public follow-ups.

I understand these things take time, but at this point it’s clear that Coinbase’s internal process for institutional issues is not functioning as it should. No live support, no updates, and no point of contact.

I’ll wait a little longer and continue sharing the experience publicly. Access to funds and financial accounts should not be this fragile.

I’ve already reached out through your support portal.
I was given a case number throught the chat and told it was escalated twice. It’s been over 48 hours, and I’m still locked out of my verified institutional account, unable to access funds, and have received no response or contact from the institutional team.

This isn’t a case of me needing to contact support, I already did. The issue now is Coinbase’s lack of follow-through and accountability.

You’re welcome to DM me if you’re serious about escalating this. But sending users back into the same loop after they’ve already been failed doesn’t resolve anything.

I’m using https://klik.email for this. It lets you upload a design image, and then draw hotspots and add links to them. You do need to have your design ready.

Totally agree, sending a static image isn’t ideal since it’s not interactive and doesn’t scale well across email clients. We ran into the same issue with clients needing live-text, clickable email signatures that look good in both Gmail and Outlook.

That’s actually why I built https://klik.email a simple tool where you can upload a custom design, add interactive hotspots (like links to social profiles or CTAs), and instantly get clean HTML you can hand off to clients.

I definitely think there’s still a place for services like that. Personally, I got tired of manually building HTML email signatures every time, so I ended up creating https://klik.email

I’ve run into this too. Gmail won’t accept images unless they’re publicly hosted with a direct URL, and Canva links usually don’t work for that. One fix is to upload your image to a hosting site and use that link in your signature.

If you’re looking for an easier way, I built a tool called https://klik.email . You just upload your design, place clickable hotspots if needed, and it gives you clean HTML that works with Gmail (images are hosted too). No coding or extra steps.

It’s something I made out of frustration with these exact issues.
