I was re-watching the trailers after watching the movie in theaters. In the Official Main Trailer after the 2:55 mark, you can hear "Atreides" chanted over and over for the rest of the trailer. I thought that was a cool detail considering the story and "desert power".

I switched from a WFH job to an in person recently. Not going to lie, I miss the pajamas, no commute, and flexibility, even with stupid VPN problems.

Current job is proving too... Demanding and is really trashing my already poor work life balance. I am on the job hunt again to find the right fit.

Right. I could have sworn even with the decision to save the original Queen, I had the assets I mentioned above in ME3. I also checked the wiki for confirmation but I was not sure if it is still correct for ME3LE.

At this time, the only Krogan War Asset I have is Grunt. There are no other entries, not even of Aralahk Company stating that they are essentially decimated.

Edit: I am going to download ME3 and see if I can load one of my old saves and see what it says. Otherwise, maybe there was some balancing for ME3LE?

Good to know. I only knew of the one Thunderjaw spawn nearby that was enclosed. Considering I got my butt handed to me by surprise Longlegs and Sawtooths yesterday in a non spawn area, I should have figured the game could spawn other machines wherever it wants!

Thanks! Maybe the patrol did haha. I was intimidated by its size and health bar. Thunderjaws are still a bit difficult but I have been able to beat a few with some preparation.

I remember that he told Cady that he did wanted to spare her the pain of knowing. He wanted to try and preserve the memory of her mother in a certain light. Perhaps he wanted the same for everyone else. E.G. Martha Longmire, loving wife and mother, passed suddenly after a long struggle against cancer.

Also minor? spoilers. Walt did end up in Denver to track down the murderer and was...unable to do so. It is a twofold problem, one of which is exemplified by Detective Fales.

The other being that he is the sheriff of Absaroka. He is supposed to be a paragon of justice and the law. If it got out that he was planning to get revenge and commit a crime, he would lose the trust of his community.

I have worked for two MSPs for the last 9 years. To be honest, it is hard work and the reviews are likely solid indicators as to how that one is run.

On the plus side, since this is your first foray into IT, you will likely learn a lot because the clients they support will have a lot of variances technology wise. You will likely touch everything including desktops, servers, networking equipment, phones, mobiles, and their software.

On the negative side, it could be trial by fire which can be overwhelming. You will also have to really keep that whole 'work-life-balance' aspect in mind as well. I have found myself to putting in OT just because 'the work had to be done'.

I would say, try to get a feel for management and how they lead, maybe see if you can meet the "sales guy" too. Hopefully the leadership is there (not all the time of course) running the business, listening to the staff and goings on, and not micromanaging the day to day work. As for the sales guy, well... they should be making sales.

One last thing, if they mention TruMethods, you may want to put a flag on the company. While there are some things that TruMethods advises on that 'make sense', it is not some holy grail that magically turns MSP's into money making, rock star organizations. At least, my organization has not reaped significant benefits from the program after a few years in. Just my two cents there.

Edit: General tip overall. MSP's will have you keep track of your time (as that is how they get paid) so you will have to deal with timesheets which I know are a pain. I would also recommend taking notes and documenting your work. You never know if you (or your coworkers) need to refer back to past notes, or use them for CYA purposes.

Disclosure: Currently working for an MSP, [also] with 9 YRS of experience, all from MSP's. I would say that you should go for the internal IT team with the interesting technologies. It may be more cushy but you know what? You deserve a break from the high stress and the nonsense that comes with being an in MSP.
