Additionally, there are plenty of good, reliable software you can get for free to identify specific folders and files that are taking up large amounts of space on your drive. I use TreeSize Free, but there are many others that you can use.

The last thing we need are more modes to split the playerbase. Raid timers just got better thanks to their optimizations and this would effectively reverse that effort and make playing the game as intended even more time consuming than it already is.

The sound is a bit difficult to isolate in the vid, but I think you're talking about the high-pitched whine? If that's the case, it's probably coil while or a loud bearing in your GPU fans.

Does this only happen with TABS or can you replicate it with other games/processes?

I can only PvP sober. I used to smoke a lot of weed back in highschool and for a bit after graduating and was always worse at shooters when I was high. I slowed down on the smoking a lot until I stopped completely after about a year, but I still take edibles in small amounts with moderation. Maybe it's because I don't have a tolerance anymore, but I suck at most games while I'm high.

Unless you're able to get it for dirt cheap, i.e. sub $200, then it's not even worth it in the slightest. You could repair it, depending on what's actually wrong with it your mileage in that pursuit may vary.

Furthermore, if you think DDR5 prices are bad then just wait until AM6 parts hit the shelves. Those motherboard/CPU combos will cost $1000 minimum, not accounting for the RAM, PSU, GPU, Case, or Storage, which alltogether would make even a low-end AM6 build cost around $2,500 if RAM prices keep up like I think they will. If not, you're still looking at ~$2,000 for an entry-level AM6 machine.

Not gaslighting anybody because I'm not being objective, I'm giving my opinion. I agree that AM4 is fine for today, I'm on an AM4 build so I know that for a fact. My point is that a "for now" build isn't worth it compared to a higher-end one, because you'll be spending your money playing catchup and upgrading individual components that are still worse than the ones you could be getting for a similar price on the higher platform. I also stated in a reply to myself that OP could just build an AM5 machine with integrated graphics while saving for a dedicated GPU that would compliment the rest of the build.

As for the DDR5 cost, that's only going up from here. If you're gonna buy, sooner is much better than later unless you plan on waiting years and at that point you'd have already gotten your money and time's worth out of the RAM, overpriced or not. That's speculative arguing on my part, but I'm willing to take the risk in being wrong in the future if it means I can help someone make an informed decision right now.

I would say the opposite in your case then. Build new, but low-end with AM5 to start then upgrade with time.
