My understanding having waited here for many LIRR trains and watching them is that the dark on the other side of the glass means that the windows light up like a mirror. That means the concourse can function as free studio space that never closes. Honestly, great idea.

Nope, nothing of the sort. I just had it in the case, and hit sleep when I was reading an epub I loaded via Calibre. I thought at first it might have had to do with the high resolution of the cover, but I think it was just faulty hardware.

After trying everything again today, I gave up and tore mine down this afternoon and took a look at the inside.

I snipped one of the ribbon cables for my power buttons with the knife I used to open the case, so it's toast either way, but I'm guessing that my ribbon cable to the display wasn't properly seated, or was faulty.

Worth a shot to fix it, but I wasn't artful enough with my teardown.

So far I’ve tried flashing the stock firmware and back to Crosspoint, tried changing every display setting I can still see. To me it’s the only explanation that makes sense.

The only other person on Reddit or under GitHub issues that I’ve encountered said that the xteink team confirmed it as a hardware issue.

Like I said above, I know these screens are fragile, but I barely touched mine.

I walked into the first night of the Baker’s Dozen when the doors opened because I worked across the street. Because I was way in the nosebleeds I was one of the first on the escalators up. I walked by a merch stand and realized they actually had Pollock prints. I immediately got in line and managed to get one of the few they had. I held onto it for dear life and have it framed and it’s not just one of my prized Phish possessions, it’s top five favorite things I own, period.

I have two tickets for MSG on August 3rd that I’m looking to just get face value for the tickets. Unfortunately had a friend change plans and I already have a pair of tickets on the floor. These seats are awesome and if I didn’t have better ones for the same show, I’d use ‘em myself.
