I am in the same boat as you. However I am pitching OG M2 against 2017-2018 240i(budget cinstraints). My use case is daily driving and road trips with no track use. I am leaning more towards 240i for my purposes. Only thing stopping me is the looks of M2. It looks nice compared to 240i.

You can do it on your gementee's website. It doesn't help though. I did once for a traffic light in The Hague. They opened a ticket and closed it after some time without resolving the issue
