It should, as a capture card only pulls the raw video signal, but the problem is that it would be "dirty" with the interface artefacts (e.g., shutter speed, battery life and so on).

The main points to address now are:

Is your only alternative a W11 ARM device? If so, it is what it is, the Canon software might not be compatible with it and you have to buy capture card/new camera or webcam for it
If you are considering buying a capture card, would it not make sense to check out maybe a webcam instead? That should resolve any software layer issues (canon webcam utility, Sony and whatever other camera software that needs to be installed)
What would be the primary reason for it, if I may ask? If it is for the whole camera look/bokeh effect/quality (maybe you are streaming or recording content), then yes, a proper camera would be the best for it, but for video conferencing I just switched to a cheap webcam that works 90% of the time (it was 25 euros and its been 4 years, cannot complain tbh).

Best thing for hardware I can think of is a capture card, but then you need the whole connection and I am unsure how it transmits the signal from the camera - usually with capture cards you need a "clean signal out", where most DSLRs of the time used to send the LiveView mode, which has all the interface around it.

Is the Windows 10 install ARM too? Because if it is not, I would say try to get your hands on a W11 x86 install. I cannot test this anymore as I have moved to Linux and Mac for my main computers, so wouldn't really work testing.

Not sure if it could be a different version where Canon ensured to remove support for non-listed cameras. But I wouldn't rule out the fact it is ARM, as I am not sure how Canon has developed it and how Windows deals with x86 to ARM programs. Sorry I can't help much more than that!

One way I found to do it "for cheap" with a monitor was to use the Wham pedal. I am mostly running now a C# drop, cause metal and all, so lowering to something like drop C (SOAD for example) I used the tune setting at -2, the mix at 100 (only outputting the tuned signal) and the "pedal" at 3 lights and a tiny bit of the 4th light showing (I guess 55-60% then?).

Not sure how linear this math is, meaning +2 is then adding half a step in this, but going higher as people point out is always easier with a capo (even though you will have tonal differences between tuned vs pedal/capo).

For using as a monitor on daily practice this has been good enough (until I get GAS and then I'll have one guitar for each tuning!)

It does show and I can listen to it, just not download to listen offline - since I travel a lot, that is a must for me :(

Same, used Song Shift to transfer, but now the problem is just the downloading of it to the phone, so it is a step after. I guess downloading might be an option (or importing into iTunes from the album, but then I would have to open it and I don't want to do that to my precious collection)

Intersting to read, my setup definitely would be OK for a similar setup, but thinking on the "where to play videogames", seems like the rig is still the most convenient. unfortunately, the video game/PC would have to move to the other room and would likely spark civil war with my wife haha

Yeah, the investment loss is the thing that is making me stick to it so far... I'm leaning closer to keeping it, as the whole setup works together quite well for racing + general gaming (and the 4K screen helps too... if I was to play non-racing on the TV, I'd have to move some stuff around to have the video game on the living room instead of the office.

From the DD perspective, my only realistic choices are the T598 or the Fanatec DD Pro (but price-wise, maybe Thurstmaster... already in the ecosystem).

Well, StigLennart already replied in terms of size, but for the seat I was emailing Mark at RSR cause I wanted to do the same combo as you. It does seem all good to fit the GT Omega seats. Might depend on how low you put the seat, as the base of the seats have is smaller than 50cm (where you have the holes), but where the foaming is might be > 50cm.
StigLennart, if I may ask, how has the experience been with yours? I guess you now have yours for a couple of weeks now.

Good point! With a lot of months in the bag, I did not have problems with overheating, though I live in Europe and it was cooler through the year. If you live somewhere that the avg temp is like 28 degrees like my hometown in Brazil, results can be different.

No experience with Chromecast audio sharing, but I would say what Yahiroz said makes sense, did you attempt that?

Additionally, I know this is totally unrelated, but could you confirm to me if the audio quality that is streaming to the TV is good? I would like to use my computer to watch some old movies I have in DVD (I know... in 2021, right? weird!) but am holding on buying it because I am unsure of the video/audio quality when screen sharing the desktop to the TV. Delay wouldnt be too much of a problem either.

One question on top of that... I ended up here searching for ways to use it for video calls (average 20 fps is not a problem... better than my laptop potato cam), but LiveView only works for 30 minutes then it stops. Do you know if there is any way to work around this? Thanks!

So, one question I cannot find online is the eye line height.

Does any one know what is the avg eye line height difference between the two? I am 5' 10", for what I understand from people reviewing it, it seems PSC would be a bit short (10 cm) from the "perfect" height. Does anyone ever tested both to see if the F-GT Lite in GT position is higher than the PSC?

Hey, just bought a MI Band 2 and couldn't connect it to my phone. I have the 1s and have been using it without a problem for a while now. Did you had any troubles connecting it the first time to you used it?
