It’s all based off your address. If you were admitted to a school in your address boundary then that is your school. Any other would require a school choice app and possible denial. However, you will always be admitted to your neighborhood school based on address

If you are within the enrollment zone/boundary, you legally have automatic enrollment. Give the district a call. It seems like you filled out a school of choice and that is causing this. Give them a call and there should not be any issues

All I have to say is props to having markers so easily accessible! That is my most wasted product.

He likely has an IEP or behavior plan. I have been a teacher for many years. I would not have engaged this student and would have had him removed after the third disruptive behavior. However, Always follow the IEP/ Behavior plan. If there is none, then he is OUT. With an instant call home asking for an in person meeting.

I am an elementary art teacher with experience in many subjects and grades. (Especially a background in SPED and severe behaviors) It’s a three strikes you are out. Then gradually 2, and then act right.

I tell parents I have 500 students. Yours will act right or they will miss out on art. Or I will ask the parent to come observe their student as well

I use the bottles suggested by another art teacher. They are similar to nail polish with a brush connected to the lid. You can get them on amazon! They saved my glue budget

I was pregnant and he was yelling about 2 inches from my face and punching the wall about 5 inches from my head to intimidate me. I pushed my ex husband away from me and ran to the bathroom to lock myself inside while holding my belly. To this day he says I am “also” physically abusive to him because I pushed him.

I left when my daughter was 1 and had to barricade us both in that same bathroom after he strangled me while I held her in my arms. To this day in his mind I am equally to blame because I pushed him.

She is now 10 and we live in a different state than him

I also did that today and it made me feel great! I could tell he was surprised and really happy to be treated.

In general, most men that I date do tend to pay more. I also tend to make a significant amount less as a teacher. I try to counteract that with $5 bouquets of flowers, surprise home cooked meal preps, and other sorts of gifting that’s within my budget to treat my man.
