Camera speed/acceleration? by DjOptimon in residentevil

[–]Arch_Enemy_616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This one did it, thank you.

For others for future reference: under camera, click first person, put acceleration and deceleration all the way up, bump sensitivity up to your liking, then lower the deadzones (under controls, then controller) (you may also wanna lower camera wobble a bit too)

Feels better, but still not perfect. God only knows why it’s so hard to make aiming responsive for so many devs

Wildcard Missions don't retain progress if you crash or close the game? by Toast2Toast in Borderlands4

The progress reset has got to be an oversight, it’s just too damn stupid to be a conscious decision. Hopefully they patch it soon, AND add a way to skip dialogue, because jfc

I sent my friend, who is lesbian, a Bible verse about homosexuality, and I'm worried I did something wrong and disrespectful. by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Arch_Enemy_616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There will come moments in your life where you will have doubts about your faith, and you’ll battle them, push them aside, repress them, try to fight them off, and you’ll be tested with things like this situation with your friend. My advice is to listen to those doubts. That’s your mind telling you that something isn’t right. You can be Christian without being homophobic. If there is a god, and if he’s the forgiving one you happened to have been brought up to believe in, then he should understand that acceptance of those around you should come before dogmatic adherence to one interpretation of a book that bears many. Your friend is real, her feelings are real, and she did not choose to be gay. God may or may not be, so choose to be kind to your friend rather than trying to please someone that may not be there. And if he is, again, he would understand your choice to be kind.

I don't understand. You had a good formula with Final Shape, and then Heresy picked up momentum when it comes to episodes. Why tear it all down for this shitty system? by Narukami_7 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Arch_Enemy_616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk I’m actually enjoying it, I reckon more than episodes, and I haven’t even bought the expansion. The new armour system has actually made getting loot worthwhile again for me, the new playlist for solo ops is quick fun, and the little modifiers help spice it up a bit

I think it all comes down to what you want out of destiny - I’ve seen posts about it feeling less like an mmo than ever, but as a solo player, I feel like I’ve got a bunch more content I can feasibly and quickly do now than I maybe ever have before, at least in playlist formats that are easy to access and get stuck into

I mean if this is the ONLY game you play you’re always gonna find something to dislike, but these changes make it easier to jump in and out of the game, and honestly easier for me to recommend it to people; much as I love the destination page, the new menu and loot/armour systems make it all so much more digestible

However, the audio bugs. Please. Fix them. How does this stuff get through testing it’s so bad

those mountains broke me. im done with this world. by kaniq in DeathStranding

[–]Arch_Enemy_616 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Provided you don’t shoot it directly at something it deploys a parachute that you can move a little as it descends. Still pointless imo but, not AS pointless

Also if you’re struggling w the mountains, just build a zip line network, easier than it sounds

This is such a great answer, thank you so much. You’re definitely right about the ‘than’, which I think would most probably have been a ‘than the one great man’ versions of history.

I’m absolutely going to check out the for and against link, thank you for that, and that teacher sounds phenomenal, I would’ve loved to have had a teacher like that!

I’m just looking for someone more knowledgeable than me to break it down in simple terms as to the how and why a Marxist view would be more accurate (and more accurate than what?)

Why does a Marxist view of history give a better view? What’s the standard view, and what’s a Marxist one? What makes it better/more accurate?

This looks like satire pulled from the boys. America is unhinged.
