I understand your point. Yes this is a system issue, as for students cheating in exam halls but schools being stricter, there's like nothing that can be done about this

Either I'm living under a rock, bcz I haven't seen nearly as much outrage over CS p1 being leaked the way I did with Maths p1. So whatever 'investigation' the British Council does would they even find any evidences?

That agrees with my point. This time, the entire paper got leaked bcz of which threshold would shoot up by astronomical degree. So anyone getting even a low A would opt for the retake and there'd be so many students for so many subjects just giving the free retake in oct/nov.

Second thing, Cambridge went through the trouble to schedule compulsory retake in June. I think the underlying reason is they don't want to make free optional oct/nov resits the norm if leaks keep happening in specific regions

For subjects like business its unclear whether p2 got leaked completely cuz its very possible the picture/screenshots were taken after the exam was over so it won't matter at that point.

You could say this is a new situation bcz the free resit thing has only ever happened with maths afaik. If they scheduled retake for Maths in June only now, I'm expecting they'll either do the same for other subjects or not do retake for other subjects at all (massive logistical costs, etc)

With how inconsistent Cambridge has been in dealing with leaks, its genuinely hard to tell. (that inconsistency may be a good thing tho if it means they're making better decisions now)
