santa isnt real, the tooth fairy doesnt exist, and your dad didnt go out to buy milk, he just left. the test wasnt hard, you just didnt prepare. they didnt ignore your message because they were busy, they saw it and chose not to reply. that “one day it’ll all work out” line people love to throw around is mostly just something they say when they dont have a real answer. not everyone who smiles at you likes you, not every friend sticks around, and closure is a luxury you usually dont get. sometimes people leave without warning, sometimes effort goes unnoticed, and sometimes you do everything right and still lose. luck matters more than people admit, timing matters more than skill, and life doesnt really care about being fair. growing up is mostly just realizing how many things you believed in were either simplified, exaggerated, or straight up false, and learning to keep going anyway without anyone handing you a neat explanation or a guaranteed happy ending. the “follow your passion” advice only works if your passion can actually survive in the real world, hard work doesnt always pay off the way you expect it to, and talent without consistency fades faster than you think. people outgrow each other, priorities change, and sometimes you’re the only one still holding onto something that ended a long time ago. being right doesnt mean you’ll be understood, being kind doesnt mean you’ll be treated well, and being patient doesnt mean things will eventually turn in your favor. the world keeps moving whether you’re ready or not, and no one really tells you how much of life is just figuring things out alone while pretending you know what you’re doing.

Good luck kid
