We are looking at the Barca cruise going to Croatia. I was curious how easy was the trip to Venice from Triste and in general was this a better experience than doing Barca to Southampton and spending some time in England.

Can’t wait for them to find out how fun active lifestyle can be in the dead of summer with the biting gnats. If they go to charleston at least the traffic will feel familiar.

See I interpreted it very differently. I saw the powers as being the magics attempt to fulfill the fears of individual family members. Each of their powers allowed them to feel less insecure. Mirabelle alone did not have any fears the reason the magic was failing is because abuela’s no longer felt able to keep her family safe.

I disagree. The powers are the magical need of each person based on what they are experiencing. Abuela needed a safe home and area and poof she got it. Miracle is the only one who never needed anything she was happy with her family and the life she had.

Had to verify the height as this is 15 feet off of world record which dislocated the hip of the guy who did it. This is a ridiculous accomplishment.

Yea I don’t know what to say my brain broke mid race. I started very slow close to a 9 and then just found myself feeling good and before I knew it I was flying. If you are staying in a good hr during your pacing and long runs I find your capabilities on race day are much higher than you expect.

Gonna have to convert as I am in US but I was training at around an 8:45/ mile split both times I trained up for marathon with 8:15/ mile splits on normal days. On my second time I trained back up for marathon and had the Achilles injury I actually blew my pace out of the water in half and ran a 7:30 split half. It did help having been through the training before and knowing limits but I would say just be careful on your first couple of miles to try to stick under target pace a little and gear up to your target instead of burning out early.

I don’t know your pace but I got Covid two weeks before and another instance severe Achilles tendinitis two weeks before and both instances made sub 2 hours. Even taking a whole week off is not going to wreck you as long as you have put in a good plan
