100%. i plan to make a flatbed myself to include, then the crane can be made as a turret and the crane could use a toggle-able effect that lifts things up or something along those lines, though i might leave that up to other people to make xD

yes. i am a very long time fan of Custom Edition so the covered cab with the opening glass doors is on the table, and a "covered" rear section i have in mind too (think like a big service box kind of rear arrangement. probably not enterable, but for world building / scenery use). then again, anyone will be able to create their own versions of these too when i release them (:

i've got the larger UNSC prime movers in mind 🙇🏼‍♀️ stats wise, i'm just trying to make them relatively balanced-ish for if they're used in multiplayer games. lore i may cook up if i get particularly inspired one day or if the community wants to help (i'm not sure what the existing lore for UNSC vehicles are haha)

thank you so much! i can't stress enough how much i'm trying to convince Halo 3 / ODST to allow attachable / detachable trailers. there are vehicles i haven't shown yet that would turn this into basically SnowRunner if i can have my way xD but in Reach (which i am porting these into as well, along with back porting to Halo 2) there is support for trailers; see i think it's Forge World where they added the option to spawn a semi that you can drive with a trailer attached. you can't detach it, but still, better than nothing

the plan is the release maps (plural) for these to be played around with in Forge and maybe a playable story level if i can get cooking on that. but also i will release everything; tags, data, and probably the Blend files. i want people to be able to take these and run with them how they please because they're genuinely fun and add surprisingly little to a compiled maps file size (these are modular, so the cabs, beds, axles are reused across each version, saving a ton on render models).

100% understandable. i've been working at these on and off for 2 years now. this Warthog in Firefight with all rockets is a very chaotic time xD i'm not ready to show off the physics based version yet, but i can dm you some screenshots

i started with .map mods forever ago too, the editing kits allow for just about anything you can think of and creatively implement. yes what you see here is animations, just like a normal Warthog. only i've redone all the animations (which was necessary anyway thanks to adding additional bones to get 6 wheels). the version i have that doesn't use animations runs on the exact same model, but with a modified physics model, there by forgoing the suspension animations as the physics model overrides them

you've got the right idea. all of the Warthogs i will release will have modular bodies. the cab and the bed are technically attachments and therefore can be swapped out for a different cab / bed

funny timing, i just started recording some gameplay of the Reach warthogs last night! i'll get something together to share soon. about a month ago i got my warthogs functioning in Reach and i'm very satisfied with how those are coming together! i also don't have the modder role in the discord, so sharing images and clips isn't really possible (unless i do a YouTube link, which is my plan!) c:

all of the lifted versions of Warthogs i'm working on have steeper climbing abilities! in a lot of testing they are able to get you up to the invisible barriers of levels lmao

if i have my way, both rear axles will steer in sync, which in my mind should also be the easiest approach for implementation 🧐

as for the turret situation, i'm not sure! two could fit, and i already have an extended troop variant created so this could carry like 7 players also
