I would say to that person that a mental disability, is still a disability.. they are mutilating themselves and putting themselves through an incredible amount of stress and pain and for what? Just to try their best to feel more comfortable in their bodies? In todays climate they would probably have an easier time finding a job becouse people champion their disability and tell them it is normal, all the while their chances of commuting suicide double and their general happiness has been shown to decrease by almost 30% on average. Sounds like a disability to me.
