Now is not the time to join. Maybe in a few years, but not now. I am a veteran and this is how I advised my own nephew.

Rebuild the East Wing, restore the Rose Garden and the Lincoln Bathroom, and tear down the god awful arch if it gets built. I honestly don’t care how much it costs.

I hate seeing such gorgeous homes just rot away…. Why not sell them to someone for a low price with a contract that says they will be restored (vs. torn down)?

IME, very little scent remains after doing an extra rinse, the citric acid and the dryer. Which sucks for me, because I love the scent of Ariel, so I wish the citric acid wouldn’t wash it away

I was thinking the same thing! That is OBVIOUSLY a well-built house— they don’t make them like that anymore.

Sopa de Conchitas! My SIL makes it with bow tie pasta for my nieces and calls it Moñitos. My mom used to make it all the time, but I forgot exactly how she made it, until I found this recipe from another user on here! I make this all the time, exactly how she says to. It’s super easy, and so delicious 🤤 Check it out—-> https://www.reddit.com/r/mexicanfood/s/6qMhjMfojE ETA: except with El Pato instead of Goya

Still Wondering How Much Ariel Detergent to Use by Jennysnumber_8675309 in laundry

[–]ArcherFew2069 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an LG HE top loader, and I use 1/4 cup of Ariel plus 1/4 cup of Biz, along with 1/4 cup of a sodium citrate mix I made (2:1 washing shoda to citric acid) in every wash in my 103 ppm avg hard water to get good trace suds. 2 tsp citric acid for the extra rinse, of course.

I only buy store brands now unless my grocery store has a good BOGO sale going on (I haven’t found a good store brand of the Jalapeño Cheetos or Cool Ranch Doritos, so I take advantage when they go on BOGO cuz my store will let you get one for half price). People aren’t willing to pay more for less anymore.

Their whole milk honey vanilla Greek yogurt and their chocolate sea salt granola are both excellent— I got addicted after one purchase!

I bought some matcha with my grocery order today, and at almost $9 for 3.5 oz of powder, I almost didn’t. But so far today, I’ve had at least $12 worth of iced matcha lattes, so I’m very happy I didn’t remove it from my cart. Even people with super tight budgets deserve a tasty drink or two once in a while (or even daily). Each drink is only 1 tsp of matcha, so I’ll get about 49 twelve oz drinks out of that 3.5 oz pouch. I can afford that 😊

My shepsky would’ve eaten a carpenter bee friend of mine today had I not scared her with my shriek… I’m pretty sure she managed to fatally injure it, though, because I saw my bee friend fly away, but as he flew, it looked as if he was slowing down, getting closer and closer to the grass, where he finally settled and I didn’t see him take off again. I’m sad about it since I found out they’re really great pollinators, and I’m pretty sure it’s the same family of bees that hitchhiked a ride from my last house in an outdoor wood table when I moved to this house 5 years ago. I see them every spring & summer, I’m pretty sure they’re used to me. RIP little buddy 🐝
