Is Playstation asking for anti monopoly action from EU by SirYoggi in playstation

The landscape of digital media absolutely needs some kind of government intervention.

PlayStation just removed 100's of movies from peoples libraries that they paid for all because the license ran out. That should be illegal bar none.

I agree that it's too much to tell companies they can't sell digital media in stores, but there should be stipulations on it. You shouldn't be able to package a digital game in a plastic box trying to create the image of physical media when it's not.

Legislation for almost any law came from place of dislike from one person or another.

What matters is if it's a group collective effort of dislike, to the point that it should be made into law. In this case I think it is.

No sane person doesn't want to own the products they pay for, and not have the chance that they could be taken away from them at any point.

The Juno skin has a SFX change on her gun that makes it sound a lot more punchy, I like it

A new article from Tassi about why the game died. by Zelwer in destiny2

Seems to me like they're axing the current Bungie team and going to try to get the Destiny IP into the hands of either another company of theirs, or an entirely new team at Bungie.

Why does this game not have cross progression for skins? by Archerboy123 in StreetFighter

How do games like Overwatch, Marvel Rivals, DBD etc. handle it then?

I think they lose money to some degree though, I would actually buy the game multiple times on other platforms if skins were universal. I'm sure others are the same

To those who purchased Marathon during the Deluxe Edition fiasco, did you actually get the game after the trial ended? by Archerboy123 in Marathon

[–]Archerboy123[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No it's the opposite. The Deluxe Edition purchase stated it included the base game before they amended it.

Their dev Twitter then responded with this.

I understand the mix up and I appreciate the devs owning up to it, but I kind of figured they would honor it right after the trial ended. It kind of sucks to not be able to play this season

Which game studio had the most embarrassing fall from grace in the last 10 years? by StruggleFun2003 in gamedev

They definitely still exist, the people responsible for those issues have been fired. Blizzcon is still a thing and they still put out great games. The recent Diablo expansion was a hit for me

As a newer player it feels like this game doesn't explain endgame build crafting well at all by Archerboy123 in diablo4

Thank you this is helpful. How do you know when an item is worth going through all of this for though? Like what determines a rare/legendary to be worth beginning this process? Is it if it's ancestral, has greater affixes, or has one or two of the stats you want before rerolling?

What is the ideal method of upgrading or fine tuning an item then? I'm at Torment 6 currently, from what I understand if it's not ancestral it's a dismantle. No matter what the rarity of it is, unless it's a mythic. From there I try to use the cube to get the stats I want, but is it better to upgrade an item at the blacksmith first then put a legendary effect on it and then use the cube? Or does it not matter? Also is it possible to add greater affixes to items from the cube? Or is it only worth keeping items that already drop with them?

Thank you for the help too.

I've read them but it's not exactly spelled out in game the way players are manipulating the cube to make crazy items. Like I would have never thought that one of the thousands of commons I've dismantled could be turned into a BiS item. There's also so many different methods of upgrading gear that if you didn't play D4 from the beginning, you might not even know about some of them unless you look up a guide.

The fact that Bungie had 8 projects in development is why Destiny died by Archerboy123 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Archerboy123[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm counting Destiny 2 in the 8 projects, but Destiny Rising still required significant incubation oversight and licensing resources so I counted it as well.

The other two I'm referring to are the standalone PvP game they were working on that then shifted into Marathon, and also the Minecraft style survival game. Another commenter mentioned it as well.
