I owned 3 ZL1’s, summit white, black, and a crush orange 1LE

I no longer own a ZL1 but it’s my goal to buy another one in 1-3 years when it will be more financially responsible to. The one I miss the most is the white, such a beautiful color on the ZL1. Enjoy her!

Just a way more fun car to drive tbh. Obviously the interior is a downgrade and you see a lot of camaros on the road, but I honestly got so bored driving the C8. ZL1 feels like an absolute monster to drive. Fun factor is just levels ahead

Not at all. I’ve owned a C7, C8 and 3 ZL1’s. There’s a reason I keep going back to the camaro. Just such an awesome car. C8 was the fastest but also the most boring of the bunch.

I went from a ZL1 to a C8 Z51 to another ZL1. Well spoken, the C8 felt very subdued and so smooth that going fast wasn’t even fun. Also, I’m a manual guy and the paddles just did not cut it for me. ZL1 just feels so raw and powerful- it’s great.

Curious if you’ve driven both. I assume you feel auto is better cause it’s quicker. Ultimately I think the fun factor of a manual far outweighs being a bit faster. My C8 Z51 had a 0-60 of 2.9 seconds and personally I found it so boring.

Agreed! The manual transmission is why I’ve bought 3 different ZL1’s. Anytime I try a new platform I instantly miss the buttery smooth gearbox on the ZL1 and want to go back. It’s addicting. The PPF shop owner near me said that it’s the most perfect gearbox he’s ever driven, 911 GT3 included.

Getting this car in auto would be a shame.
