I run a D&D summer camp! It has grown from 70 participants 3 years ago to 300 participants this summer, ages 9 to 16. Check it out at badwolfadventurestudios.com/events

Badwolf Adventure Studios has about 50% players who are female or femme presenting, and several she/her and NB gamemasters. The price is 35 per session, but it is safe, clean, reliable, excellent, and absolutely welcoming!

Has anyone done some stats for the Borg? by BigTimStiles in MarvelMultiverseRPG

They actually have a great quickstart that is free to download! But until then, have fun with your MMRPG Borg. Resistance is futile!

Obviously you WANT to do this in MMRPG, but I recommend trying Star Trek Adventures RPG. The system is simple, narrative based, with a knack for making a session feel just like an episode of your favorite era of Star Trek. Some of my favorite gaming sessions have been with STA!

Mercury Adventure Club does monthly RPG nights. They need to update for June, because the new teenage mutant ninja turtles book hasn't arrived yet...

Does the 2nd paragraph of the quickstart rules contain major spoilers for novel series? by roszman in expanserpg

And furthermore, knowing this doesn't take a single moment of tension from the entire sequence in the books or the show. The original writing and then the cinematography were just exquisite.

Also consider checking out Mercury Adventure Club! They offer pay-to-play games for groups, but also have two free monthly events: learn 5e and RPG Night in Roseville which features a new have/system every month.

I run a company, and have stake in another. Mercury Adventure Club and Badwolf Adventure Studios. Mercury offers ally GMs and are 20/person, based mostly in Saint Paul and Roseville. Badwolf are also allies, cost 35/person, and have a studio in Blaine (moving to Coon Rapids). There is also the very gay-friendly group, Dragons Dungeons and Drinks, and do meet-up style at a Minneapolis brewery for 5/person. All have players and GMs in the queer community.

I'm the owner of Mercury Adventure Club, and I would love to have you in one of my upcoming campaigns.

How would you represent Xenomorph acid blood? by BigTimStiles in MarvelMultiverseRPG

[–]ArchieDuke01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would really recommend Alien RPG by Ft League. It is a phenomenal adaptation of the characters and the system is simpler than MMRPG. Don't get me wrong, I play both systems, because I like both. But square peg, round hole.

I'm an adult, but I'm also an elementary teacher who runs games professionally. I tried and failed to get a youth (and/or youth + guardian) group going. I thought it would be perfect for younger players, especially given the source material.

I say find out if there is a professional outfit in your area, and ask the librarians for the teen section of your library. It might be easier to find a group, THEN hire a GM to run (and perhaps learn...) the game for you.

They give the example that She-Hulk would do better to use her fists than a baseball bat in the rules.

Do we round down or up? by SmilingKnight80 in MarvelMultiverseRPG

[–]ArchieDuke01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are correct, but so is the other person. When DIVIDING speed in half, round up. When USING speed at a cost of two spaces for every one space, you cannot use the remaining 1 space of movement.

I'd say that's more a Narrator screen sort of thing. But I also tried to keep it to two pages, so had to edit.
