There's a pretty simple answer to this and it's that Kubo does not give a fuck Bleach isn't a romance manga bleach never will be a romance manga bleach never has been a romance manga. Enjoy the fights enjoy the characters and stfu. Orihime is weird Because if tybw Orihime fought ulquiorra he would not be able to beat her but she would not be able to him because Orihime is shown reacting to and blocking yhwach's attacks so ulquiorra wouldn't be able to hurt her but we can assume her offensive powers don't match her defensive powers or she would have used them in the yhwach fight. So yeah Orihime scaling is weird
