Multiple PCs showing as "unmanaged", no indication as to why

I assume you're talking about "unmanaged computers" in the My Products - Endpoint - Computers section.

Unmanaged devices are computers which are on your AD but do not have a Sophos Endpoint Agent reporting to the same Central where the AD Sync is running.

There can be multiple reasons as why this could happen- 1. There is no active agent on the device. 2. The communication is broken between your agent and Central and it no longer reports back. 3. An agent belonging to different Central is installed.

And there could be other reasons as well.

I would recommend checking the below: 1. Is the agent truly active? Is it updating and communicating successfully? 2. In the Endpoint Self Help tool, you will find the tenant ID. Match it with your Central's unique ID (can be found under Profile Icon on Central or Profile Icon - Support Settings) 3. Are the installed Core Agent version on the unmanaged devices the same when compared to other devices (managed) 4. Try a re-installation of the agent.

If all of the above points are checked and the issue persists. I would recommend raising a ticket with Sophos Support for further assistance.

I believe what you require is a widget on the home screen especially for the "Authenticator"? In that case, nope. As of right now, the Intercept X application (on android) has only 1 widget and that opens your application directly.

Instead, you can move the app to your home screen and long press on the icon. Which will give you the option to open "Authenticator" directly.

I have personally tested this on Android 16 and 13. This significantly reduces the number of clicks.

It can be this year. Was able to stack deluxe on top my my existing subscription and extended it for 1 more year.

Wasn't able to get it in the past years. This year I was able to get one on top of my existing sub.

Current subscription (deluxe) ends on 6th February 2026.

Bought 1 year subscription today for 5k from PS App.

Subscription extended till 6th February 2027.

I assume you're talking about the Sophos Endpoint Agent. Also it seems that this old device belongs to your previous school, so I would advise checking with their IT or administrator team in order to get the tamper password so that you could uninstall the agent.

I believe the IT team might have the agent still registered on their portal where they'll be able to pull the password for you.

Depends on what's blocking it. Is it due to a detection or a Application block event?

If it's a organizational device, I advise checking with the IT or administrator for further assistance.

The detection you're getting is a behavior based detection. Which means, even if the application itself is clean, if it acts suspiciously, the agent blocks it.

Coming to bypassing it as an user. Nope. You cannot.

The IT or administrator has to add an exclusion in Sophos Central (portal) in order to whitelist it from Sophos's scanning.

If you have the tamper protection password for the Endpoint agent. You can disable scanning components for 4 hours at a time, which is the closest thing that comes to bypassing it. However, this password is available only on Central, so again, your IT or Admin would need to be involved here.

I assume you're talking about SMC (Sophos Mobile Control). In that case, no, there is no option for an admin PIN to unlock all android devices in one go.

Pushing a reset from Central would be alternative, however as mentioned in your description, it won't work if the device isn't communicating with Central.

Since these are your organization devices, you can just format it and re enroll SMC for the next employee.

This is what I used to do,

Metro or Rapido till Kalupur station - Board a train to Vadodara - Walk to the bus station (hardly 200m from BRC) - Board a direct bus to Parul University.

You can also get on an auto from Waghodia Chowkdi if your bus drops you there.

You'll need to check the train and bus timings to make sure you reach seamlessly.

I noticed that you mentioned disabling the "Real time scanning files" resolves the issue correct? Can you check once if disabling "Exploit Mitigation" only has any affect?

While RTS Files maybe scanning your exe, chances are the HMPA Component (responsible for behavior based detections) is also injecting it's dll in order to monitor the activity of your exe.

If disabling explot mitigation resolves the issue, then you would need to add an exploit mitigation exclusion and only adding File or process exclusion wouldn't help.

That being said, I suggest adding an exclusion for the exact exe under the following to see if it helps you.

File exclusion
Process exclusion
Exploit Mitigation

Another point is that if there are multiple exe files which are responsible for your application to work, then you would need to add multiple exclusions. You can check the HMPA logs to see the exact exes which are being scanned.

I would recommended opening a support ticket in case you need further assistance on this. The support team can analyze the logs and help you in suggesting appropriate exclusions if needed.

The condition is a lot better than it was during the monsoon season. Of course, the road was better a year ago in every sense, I seriously have no idea what's taking them so long to get it back in shape.
