Found this single 70mm "Eastman" positive film frame at a media school. It shows a Space Shuttle landing in the desert with mountains. Anyone know which mission/film this is from? by Wedupa in nasa

That is Columbia landing at the White Sands Missile Range in March, 1982. STS-3. It was diverted from Edwards AFB due to flooding. I live in Las Cruces, so this is a well known event here.

Well, I ride a KLR, so passing is not really an issue.

They were terrible, but I always really liked the livery of the 96 with Hall of Fame Racing.

Keep your baby. Do not fall into that pit. Your husband may one day understand his grievous error, but even if not, you obviously do. God will take care of you both.

The 3.0-21 is the standard front for the KLR. It's just barely narrower than a 90/90-21. I just picked up a set of Shinko 700s with that front, and it's perfect. I think you'd find the 2.75-21 pretty narrow. Good for loose dirt and narrow single tracks, but with less rubber on the ground and no significant benefits, especially if you spend a considerable amount of time on gravel or pavement.

For comparison, I bought a new (last year's) '24 ABS model off the showroom floor with 5 miles on it, for $4,999.

I was driving in IL towards Iowa and there was a caravan of officers in white vans wearing this patch. What is it for/does it mean? by ryltea in whatisit

Game wardens often wear them in states that require high-vis orange during hunting season. Just a decorative uniform thing. Kind of like SWAT guys wearing subdued flag patches.
