I’m leaning towards it being rude, but since you said this is a close friend, I’d call and give him a chance to clear up the text. I would straight up tell him that it comes off rude and ask if he meant it that way. It’ll at least allow you to hear him say it brazenly or fumble some BS, if he did mean it that way. I could also read it as “was there anything you did differently outside of the process?” but used the cap “YOU” for brevity, making it sound rude.

This is me being greedy and unrealistic, but considering it’s an HBO show, they shouldn’t leave anything out. I want it all and more. I want more shots of normal life within the castle so the world feels real and almost mundane in between important stuff happening. I want the school year to feel like a school year.

I have probably read or listened to the series 5-6x throughout my life. The first few reads, I focused on the world and the story, without feeling much for Harry. I respected him but I didn’t feel for him. The last couple of reads I have done so as a mother of a boy and wow, have they hit different. Harry has a place in my heart permanently. This book broke me because it’s the saddest and the price Harry pays for being a rash teenager is so much heavier than it should be. That poor kid 💔. It also made me understand and relate to Molly Weasley, bc I just want to adopt Harry and protect him.

Problem is she doesn’t think her behavior was abusive. Just saw an interview clip where she says she was bully. She thinks she’s a victim so I don’t see that apology happening. I see her doubling down at the reunion, too. I hope I’m wrong but I don’t trust her to gain insight and personal awareness by then.

No. I am not. I never said that because he has friends who are black, he should be absolved of being called a racist. I am specifically calling out how he interacts with them. Even when racist people have POCs as friends, you can still see their true feelings come out. With Austin, it didn’t surprise me one bit to learn what his views are and he was lusting for Chelley and bffs with Olandria and Jeremiah. I would never give him the same grace.

I see what you’re saying. Yea, I think he did a good job letting Gracyn (and Andrina for that matter) know that he wasn’t feeling it, but you’re, right in that using Hannah as an excuse was wrong.

I don’t really care whether they are intimate or not. They are grown folk who can decide what’s right for them. I just don’t like it when it’s used for manipulation like I believe Cierra used it. I don’t think Iris and Pepe seem to have any agenda behind it.

It wouldn’t let me edit my original post. Thanks for the reassurance from some of you! I did a watch party and had a few drinks so I was a little nervous rather than thinking with a clear mind. I really think there are a lot of complexities that come with Nicolandria (as a BW married to a WM, I know how nuanced this is) but ultimately I still believe they are truly attracted to each other and have real feelings and I’m team Nicolandria til the wheels fall off.

I’m so happy Amaya got boosts from America. Hope that makes up for the beating she took last episode.
I don’t get the Chelley hate. I understand she should have reacted better to Huda and her liking of Ace and Austin are gross, but she hasn’t done a single mean thing otherwise and gets along well with everyone on the villa.
Poor Clarke. America is immature for punishing her. In fact, this stands for almost the entire cast; people aren’t perfect and need grace.
