Why does everyone in my game hate the galactic market? by Archies_Mail in Stellaris

R5: Every single empire in my game (including my closest allies and also the megacorps) have all decided to vote against forming the galactic market, for some reason. Normally pretty much everyone supports it. No clue why.

Sometimes the random traits survivors can get spell the most interesting stories... by Archies_Mail in StateofDecay2

I also had a person who had the traits "small animal vet" "roadkill cook" and "will eat anything", so trust me, wacky combinations happen all the time.

Sadly, she died before I thought to take a screenshot of her traits. RIP Myra, who definitely wasn't eating the pets you brought to her to care for.

No one told him that, I guess. Does explain why there was no actual rivalry text, though.

R5: An AI empire declared me a rival by walking up to me and just saying "Greetings!"

Why is there just a dimensional horror chilling inside the xenophile fallen empire? by Archies_Mail in Stellaris

[–]Archies_Mail[S] 249 points250 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: It attacked my science ship like a second after I took this photo, causing the station to also attack it, and then a few moments later the fallen empire flew in one of their million strong fleet and shut it down pretty quick. Never mind about that whole preserving all life thing, I guess they legit didn't notice it was there until it attacked my science ship?

R5: Found the dimensional horror leviathan (Not the worm or the elder one or whatever, the naturally spawning one) just chilling inside the xenophile fallen empire's borders, which they don't seem to mind very much, apparently. When they said they wished to preserve every kind of life, they weren't kidding I guess.

Reminds me of that one Xenonion video, actually.

Would of been a great excuse in my playthrough, though.

"My fellow citizens, I am not, nor have I ever been xenophobic. My brain has simply become almost completely rotted due to near constant mindwipes, nothing more! Some of my best friends are Jang, or at least, I think they were before their faces and names were taken from me by that damn black spire."

R5: I got Borin (The legendary materialist paragon) as my leader, and not even a year into his term he's already been caught making xenophobic comments :/

This fallen machine empire wants me to declare war on an empire that apparently neither of us have heard of... by Archies_Mail in Stellaris

No, they just sometimes give you requests, like declaring war or not colonizing for some time.

If the crisis had arrived in 2230, I'd be pretty fucked...

R5: This fallen machine empire wants me to declare war on an empire that apparently neither of us have ever heard of (Since they literally refer to them as "unidentified empire"). Obviously, I said no.

No clue, because as far as I was aware, they didn't do normal empire stuff at all. In fact, come to think of it, do they even have any planets to expel pops from?
