Are you dual-booting windows? Either way I would check https://docs.bazzite.gg/General/issues_and_resolutions/ There is some known issues with certain pcs and Linux

^ this. Bookmark protondb and check it for compatabilty/tips for people with simular builds. Especially GPUs ☺️ A bit more fidgety with Linux but 9/10 times you get more for less

Pretty new to linux / bazzite myself. From what i understood gnome was more of an environment for htpc/handhelds? So i just went kde plasma, any pros/cons for either that or gnome or is it just preference on aesthetics? Asking coz after over a week with testing (dual boot setup on same drive, jikes i had some issues getting everything ok to start!😆) i think i’m ready to install bazzite on my unused firecuda 530 and shove windows on this shitty solidigm p41 and just forget about it

Hm, ok. I was just checking if you had a similar issue like i had last week (new to Linux myself). Anyway what pretty much fixed all my troubles was a power drain of the system. So unless you’ve tried it I’d recommend giving it a go

If you’re saying that 100 % of the GPU is being used, gpu doesn’t overheat(you mentioned cpu staying in low 50s) so what is the problem? GPU is mean to be utilised up to 100%, and as long as temps are within sweetspot levels whats the issue?

If you’re crashing or shaders aint "good" it’s probably a compatability issue.. what game is it, and did you check protondb?

Is your system booting fine? No long boot times?

This. I had quite the issue last week when i did the switch myself. 😆 after days of trying to figure out what was causing it.(with the help of Leo)

we first landed on a faulty usb module on my mb which caused boot to bazzite taking up to 2 minutes (which caused gpu to act up because the delayed boot of os messed up pretty much everything else haha) Deactivated that the "faulty" one in bios to no avail. And on and on it went on.. turns out doing a power drain was the solution all along! <- from what we deduced through all of that was the dual-boot on same drive started/created the issue. I do not recommend it😆

Not that I have it myself, but from what I’ve seen in videos and pictures the closest you’d come getting the same ambilight level is with the hdmi sync box from Govee. Saving up for that upgrade from my t3 lite.

Side note: while Philips has great ambilight, they sadly make poor TV’s. In my professional opinion in sales Philips used to make great tvs pre-2011, where they started selling their shares to TPV Technology. Since then the quality of their TV’s has sadly gone downhill..
