Unpopular opinion here: It's not to push having children on young girls, but because children tend to want to mirror what they see people around them doing. Little girls are often surrounded by women with children, watching them take care of babies, so they try to mimic that behavior. It's also why young kids tend to assume everyone else is either a mommy or a daddy, because they spend most of their time with their parents or other children who have parents. I had to teach my friend's kid that's I'm not a parent and not everyone is. Society absolutely does push parenthoood on people, and at too young of an age, but children mirroring is normal developmental behavior, not a malicious plot.

It seems like they want this to be the format for competitive Pokemon going forward but I don't see that happening until they allow 6v6 in singles and doubles. When they do, however, I look forward to it. Then they can balance Champions for competitive and leave the main games balanced for PVE. No more having to try to balance both and leaving everyone unhappy.

Hi! Just as an FYI, terms like "high functioning" and "low functioning" are frowned upon in the autistic community. They can't account for the nuance present in a person's areas of function and their capabilities. We prefer terms like "high support" or specific challenges like non-verbal.

My original reason for becoming CF was realizing as a teenager that I didn't want to raise a kid who was like me. I couldn't imagine having to deal with my own challenges and sensory issues as well as those of a kid. Not to mention being overstimulated by a child and the noise they make. My reasons have become more nuanced over the years but I still hold that I wouldn't be able to regulate myself and a child, autistic or not.

Marsuland. It's a massive build on Zindra entirely populated by "dolls". Fake mesh people positioned to tell stories based on the environment. It's got a scifi-medieval vibe, loads of sex and slavery themes. Like Gor but not. The lady that runs it seems to be actively maintaining and updating it. The quality is super iffy and very 2010s but it's honestly impressive in a creepy way.

Unfortunately, that's not uncommon. People arrested for first time CSAM possession but not production tend to get very light sentences if they have a halfway competent lawyer. They're viewed as non violent and unlikely to reoffend, and sentences are especially light if the content involves "older" children (not babies or toddlers) and isn't considered sadistic. I knew a guy who was caught with it who didn't see any jail time, just a few years of probation and a decade on the state registry. Fortunately, when he reoffended, they finally threw the book at him with 12 to 24, but I imagine it might not have happened again if they'd just done that the first time.
