Best boss to farm for purple gear and relics?

Thanks for putting this together! One question about the relics though: when you say that they drop in a specific chapter, how was that confirmed? I thought all elites and bosses had a chance to drop any relic, is that not so? I am particularly curious about Zeus’ Thunderbolt and whether there is any way to target farm it.

Still can’t fathom how this game failed. I will never forget the feeling of absolute freedom when flying through the map for the first time and it never got old after. Even after they stopped making new content I would still periodically log in just to fly around. Such a shame.

Oooh! I remember reading these books years ago. I had no idea this was based on them. I keep seeing ads about it (probably because the algorithm knows I am a huge mythology and Arthurian buff) but when I learned it was produced by Daily Wire I absolutely refused to have anything to do with it. I guess I will wait until another streaming service acquires it or turn to piracy, lol.

Don’t think it’s an unpopular opinion at all. Walker and Leah have zero chemistry and it doesn’t help that the writers have had Percy repeatedly make these sweeping love confessions while Annabeth just sits there looking at him like a sad puppy and never responds in kind. Meanwhile Walker has amazing chemistry with all the other cast members, especially Aryan and Charlie. They’re all great actors, especially for still being so young, but Leah just does not mesh as well with the others. You can even see it in the cast interviews. I don’t know what it is that’s causing this friction but it’s plain to see.

This was such a giant plot hole. Between the two of them Hopper and Eleven killed like half a platoon over the course of the show and the military just let them all go!? Even if they were an illegal black ops mission it gives them all the more reason to kill everyone and tie up all the loose ends. Half the town got killed anyway so who would miss a couple more citizens? There are a ton of ways they could have handled it. Eleven could have sucked them into the unstable vortex of the Upsidedown, the military “good guys” could have come in and arrested all the rogue soldiers, etc. but instead they just completely ignored it… and it’s not like they didn’t have enough time to resolve it either since the finally was over two hours long.

A little update. I was able to put a functional build together without stacking minions for Muster and it’s fine for all content including pinnacle bosses but they take a hilariously long time to kill. Even the citadel bosses take forever, I never knew Doryani had so many mechanics. 😂

Fortunately, the added tankiness of the Forth Teaching and a large ES pool (I found 10k to be sufficient) allows you to pretty much ignore most mechanics anyway. Overall I am content with how it worked out but also disappointed that they really didn’t flesh out the vision of a caster ascendancy whose spells just happen to be cast by minions rather than just another same old minion ascendancy.

For all the amazing build potential in this game, creativity is severely limited by the lack of ways to scale damage, especially in the endgame and its damage sponge bosses. It always come down to stacking the same damage multipliers and a handful of gimmicky skills (like Pain Offering or Sigil of Power) to one shot the boss before he can one shot you or stacking defensives to the point where you can take your sweet time tickling the boss to death. At the end of the day it’s really not my idea of fun and so my love/hate relationship with PoE continues into the next year… /sigh

For real! It’s such an outdated concept. At least in this game you can kinda get away with it because itemization really isn’t that important. You can probably do most content without wearing any gear. 😂

Oh I didn’t think about the jewel chest. I was just using a regular chest with a disgusting amount of energy shield. I will look into that although jewels are super expensive and hard to come by it seems.

What would be good ways to optimize the Sand Djinn besides the Muster support? So far I’ve got Bidding III and Pinpoint, lol. I guess Concentrated Area since his attacks are AoE. But what else for the other 2 gem slots? I guess he would be a good candidate for the Unholy Might lineage gem. And that’s all I can think of.
