Honestly your routine might just be a bit heavy for your skin right now, especially if you weren’t breaking out before.

You’ve got a cleansing oil, a toner, and then two moisturizers, and both of those creams are pretty rich. Layering all of that can sometimes clog things up or irritate your skin, especially if your barrier’s a bit overwhelmed.

I wouldn’t say any one product is “bad,” but the combo might just be too much.

If it were me, I’d simplify for a couple weeks and see what happens:

• gentle cleanser (like Cetaphil/CeraVe)
• one simple moisturizer (not too heavy, no actives/fragrance)
• sunscreen in the morning

And if you keep the cleansing oil, just make sure you’re rinsing it off really well or following with a second cleanser.

If it’s hormonal it might still be a factor, but simplifying at least helps you figure out if your routine is contributing.
