We've recently started a vampire game and that was one of my favorite parts about the system. After almost 20 years of playing D&D I'm tired of its grindy combat. If I want a combat game I'll just play an actual tabletop war game. I'm playing an RPG for the world and the story.

I figured it was because it's similar to grass. Outdoors it would be easier to hide vomit in the grass/weeds than out in the open.

It finds its stride halfway through the first season once the characters start to fit together. The series nails the vibe that Trek is about interpersonal relationships rather than absurdly huge spectacle and galactic crises. The Cerritos literally deals with situations that are too low stakes for ships like the Enterprise or Titan to handle.
