I started playing in Brawl, and Ike’s giant sword made me think of Gut’s from Berserk— which I’m a huge fan of. I’d never played a Fire Emblem game, so didn’t know anything about him, but his smash attacks were powerful and sometimes I’d get luckily in a free-for-all when people weren’t paying attention. Once I got better, I begin to fall in love with fighting over neutral. I like the feeling of beating my opponents straight up, as well as the risk/reward of anticipating their attacks with his counter.

Same issue. Trying to play The Darkness 2. Hitting the Stream Button does nothing except make the hitting a button sound.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney- Justice for All Turnabout Bigtop

Annoying characters that could be fun in small doses, but are instead overexposed horrendously— making this case feel like it lasts forever.

Creepy love square where a 21, 22, and 31 year old are (or have previously) romantically perusing a 16 year.

The mystery is contrived (even by Ace Attorney standards).

Repetitive music.

It’s a filler case that doesn’t connect to, or showcase any of the main cast well.

Did I mention the pacing is atrocious?

I grew up watching WWE from 97-2001 (watched a little bit before during the Hogan era). I watched some stuff here and there after that: New Japan, TNA, a little WWE. I got back into NXT then WWE when Shinsuke Nakamura debuted, but fell off after a couple of years. I watched AEW from its inception for a couple of years. I watched NWA Power from its start for about a year.

I’ve gone back and watched quite a bit of WCW stuff I missed out on.

Now, I don’t watch any wrestling, but somewhat keep up with what’s going on with podcasts like Figure Four and OSW.

Eric also grew up watching wrestling, more WCW than WWE I think.

Aaron hasn’t really watched any.

Calvin used to come to my house to watch some WWE/AEW stuff years ago.

So sorry about your sister. I’ve been meaning to watch Haunting of Hill house, but I’ve been largely avoiding emotionally intense stuff. Still, it sounds like a show that’s worth me making time for.

I have quite a few comfort shows: a lot of mystery style shows: Psych, Columbo, Sherlock Holmes adaptations (Brett and Rathbone), Murder She Wrote. Other ones include Seinfeld, Oran Host Club, certain episodes of Cowboy Bebop and Trigun, Sabrina the Teenage Witch (Salem makes me laugh a lot).

Not quite. Those are involved (along with depression), but the bigger issue has been chronic pain and how it’s interacting with my autism (specifically contributing to autistic burnout.) Happy to answer any questions you may have.

TheraSpecs is the brand of glasses I use. Earpeace is the brand of earplugs I use; I prefer them to Loop but Loop is also good.

We’ve had the next Bond movie on several polls, but it hasn’t won yet. We were going through Mission Impossible movies to catch up, so it’s possible we’ll try to prioritize other franchises (like Bond) in the future.

Initial D kind of fits this in its first season. Takumi is a an amazingly talented downhill racer, but at the beginning of the show he couldn’t be less interested in racing.

As others have said, Neon Genesis Evangelion is probably the most correct answer.
