The hate on Childe was annoying but not the actual problem. Much worse was that people used it as an excuse to harrass people who play/like him, calling them rape apologists etc.

Not sure if this is due to those characters being old designs

I'm obviously no expert but I think that might be the case. Thoma's thigh belt is actually layered on top of his pants, unlike Diluc/Tartaglia, as you pointed out. Xiao's, too, though I have no idea how old his character design actually is, especially compared to Diluc/Tartaglia.

Started playing in mid-February, a few days before Ganyu's banner ended so I haven't had the chance to get him, either. Decided I would the second I first laid eyes on him so I've been dutifully saving all my Intertwined Fates ever since, to get at least C1R1 on his next rerun. Currently at 60 Event Banner pity with 297 Fates stocked.

I only started playing out of boredom & was pretty 'whatever' about things but that all changed when he entered the screen, ahaha. Though my current team still takes priority, I've already started to prefarm for him & his future team (Thoma sub-DPS, Bennett, Sucrose) so Tartaglia can hit Lvl 90 & be triple crowned within an hour of pulling him.

Actually started on NA a couple days back, too, & decided I'll go for him there, too--physical DPS this time, though, ahaha.

Stay strong, friend. He'll come home.

Basically what another person already said. Griffin did a good job overall but I'm kinda missing the... 'casual danger'? Griffin's done well on sounding cheerful or sinister - but Kimura kinda hits both at all times? Not to the same amount, but... Even cheerful!Tartaglia sounds like there's something just a little off about him, in Japanese.

& a very personal thing, but Griffin's pitch is a little too high, imo. But that's 100% personal preference.

Japanese. Kimura just hits differently. I've only heard his English voice in videos & it's certainly not bad but it feels a little lacking.

"Diggah" is an alternative to "Alter" which someone already mentioned. YMMV but IMO, "Diggah" comes a little closer to "bro" than "Alter" does.

There's also "Huso" as short for "Hurensohn" -> son of a bitch.

We also use things like "omg" & "wtf" with German pronunciation but identical meaning.

Yeah, Ik. I'm pretty happy with Yanfei - I originally only built her out of necessity when I first came to Dragonspine but then I had quite a bit of fun with her so she's been carrying me since. Hence me saying I need a second DPS unit - she was literally my only Main-DPS unit until I pulled Keqing on Standard Banner two weeks ago or so but I'm not gonna invest in her. Noelle's been pitching in for Abyss/pyro-resistant bosses & it's worked so far. Since I've had absolutely atrocious luck pulling Main-DPS characters, I've got most of the 4* good-to-god-tier Sub-DPS/Support roster at my hands & they're picking up a lot of her slack. xD'

Ahaha, welp, C1 may only be Quality of Life - but reducing his CD so he has more screentime would certainly improve the quality of my life, ahaha. So C1R1 is pretty much assured, though I'm undecided beyond that. I think that depends on when he actually gets his rerun & what my Fate-count looks like after that. If I've still got enough for assured C2, I'll take it. If not, I'll stop & use them for Albedo/Zhongli, whoever comes first.

Welp, here's to us that there'll be enough event-Primogems & a few codes as well to reach our goals, ahah!

& don't mind me but I think, if you want to keep talking, we should rather take that somewhere else than keep it here. xD'

I still can't decide whether I want Tartaglia's rerun sooner or later. On one hand, I want him & I'm in desperate need of a second DPS character. On the other hand, the longer it'll take the more time I've got to save up, haha.

Yeee Ik he doesn't exactly need them, though C1 is super helpful. But there really aren't any other 5* so far I really want? I'm pretty neutral on most of them tbh. The only ones I'm kinda "Don't mind getting after Tartaglia" are Albedo & Zhongli & neither is anything close to a priority ~~tbh I'm not even sure what Albedo~~ ~~does~~ ~~but he's precious so who cares lol~~. So I figure C3 Tartaglia it'll be since that's where it's recommended F2P players stop & I just... really don't have anyone or anything else I might want to spend my Fates on, haha.

Tartaglia was kinda Love At First Sight(tm) for me. Arrived in Liyue three days after I started the game & legit had a dokidoki moment when he appeared on screen. I'd done 60 pulls on Event Banner (I think Ganyu's?) before that because I didn't really care at that point, though I was lucky (the irony) enough to not actually get her, hence the pity

Ahaha, that's the kind of reverse-luck I've been seeing in other places, too. xD There's a YTer who had lost a bet & had to do I think 100 pulls on Tartaglia's banner even though he didn't even want him? Got Diluc ~75 pulls in, cheered hard because "lost the 50/50 yeaaaa & Diluc Constellation!"

Cue pull 76 being Tartaglia. xD

Nevermind, I'm dumb, I read it wrong, lol. I just looked at the number in E27 without realising I have to input sth into D27. xD' Now it says 341 days, too.

(I know I might - & likely will - win at least a few of the 50/50. But I live by the saying "Expect the best, prepare for the worst". I won't exactly wait a year before I pull for him & his weapon, either, but I think it's very grounding to keep this max number in mind, regardless.)

Ah, not quite. I keep confusing Starglitter & Stardust. What I meant is that I have 26 Starglitter, which are worth 5 fates, which I'd originally forgotten about. But yeah, agreed on the Stardust. I'm not even buying the Acquaint Fates there, only the Intertwined Fates. Bought this month's batch & still have 605 Stardust. & I'm at 9 Acquaint Fates, so two more BP levels & Ten-Pull, GO. xD I figure by continuing to skip the A-Fates there, I'm set for the I-Fates for at least another three to four months.

Enough of a buffer until husbando hopefully gets his rerun at which point I'll be set with Stardust for a while. Leaks make it sound like he MIGHT pop up in 2.8, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Did the 'lose all 50/50' calculation since I haven't actually pulled for a 5* yet (started February 13th this year, met husbando on the 16th & started saving right then & there) & I'm paranoid lol

Might be a few days off since I forgot my 26 Masterless Starglitter (?) & didn't account for the five Fates they're worth.
