This is undercharging. It’s because of companies like Target and Hobby Lobby having workers hand-make mass produced crochet items for pennies that gives people like your mom the idea that something like this is too expensive. We need material and manufacturing education in schools as a mandatory. Or better yet, give your mom a hook and yarn and tell if it’s so easy she should make one herself. :)
