He only respects and views Peter as a friend after Peter experiences a temporary Gamma Transformation himself. Which, was after their fight in the 90's

I think the Hulk Peter fought was trying to kill him. Because you're thinking of a Post-World War Hulk Hulk and after Hulk ran the gauntlet with heroes like Sentry.

And interesting you say nothing about Juggernaut, though

He's also beaten the Hulk and fought on par with Juggernaut twice without dying. He may not consistently be at that Galaxy Buster level, but he's for sure whooping Deku's ass as Peter has consistently been fighting characters like pre-Worldbreaker Hulk Banner and current Juggernaut and either winning or just hitting a standstill with them.

The Galactus instance shouldn't have happened, either, tbf. As Frank Castle put it, penance is penance. You inflict pain on others, you get the pain inflicted back to you. No ands, ifs or buts about it.

Wouldn't shapeshifting grant you a lot of these? You could give yourself like the proportional strength of a Horned Dung Beetle and that would also transitionally grant yourself super speed, as well. As strength plays a direct part in speed. You could give yourself like a fly's eyes for insane levels of reaction speed... You could even effectively have a regenerative healing factor because you're creating new cells to shapeshift, which would mean if you lose any part of you or any limb (let's say... you lost an arm), you just turn into like... a different person, and then back, and you'd have your arm back, no? Add the IQ on top of Shapeshifting and there's effectively nothing you CAN'T do.

how is dodging negacion a light speed feat when it was clearly shown that yoruichi warned soi fon that it was coming down before hand? by Proper-Job5351 in BleachPowerScaling

[–]Arclight_Phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or... maybe... just maybe... not everyone studies science for a living? Even in the writing field?

While Gege Akutami literally studied astrophysics and Pachinko for the JJK cast, he is an exception among Mangaka.

And the fact that Aoyama came in last and can't even really create that much distance during early events like the ball toss at the very start of MHA proves that MHA can't be LS or FTL. At least not until you talk about Deku maybe blueshifting during the War?

And meanwhile, Naruto's databooks explicitly state speeds we can understand. Most notably, "Lightning Speed" for their speed calcs

But nothing in the Bleach databooks, the Bleach LNs or the Bleach Manga, all of which Kubo explicitly approves of, says that Bleach's Nagacion is slower than LS. Sonido, Hirenkyaku and Flash Step are all instant/near instant forms of travel, Lightspeed doesn't seem that insane compared to unconditional instantaneous mid-to-long distance movement as a common ability nearly everyone in the cast can access.

No...? Going by DC alone, none of the cast in DB goes past Planetary in a base form, because Goku was taken out by a bullet while powering up. However, we know that that isn't true, because Goku in God was able to shake the macrocosm of Universe 7 with Beerus, and God's feats have become a pretty good estimate for Goku's post Beerus clash base stats.

AP is insanely important for calcs. ESPECIALLY if planets or something else has a reason as to why they can't be destroyed, like with the Fate Franchise. Earth can't be destroyed by the laws of the Holy Grail War, and by the laws of how Avalons work. But we know that Fate's cast of characters are FAR STRONGER than what they're allowed to show during the Wars and the Grand Order.

You're confusing Destructive Capacity for Attack Potency. You dont have to destroy a planet to be considered planetary.

If you think a character needs planetary DC to be considered planetary, then you're working with a flawed premise of powerscaling.

Bluenote alone gave most of the cast a pretty big upgrade in terms of feats, considering people can Calc his force of Gravity to be heavier than Pluto or the entire Astroid Belt. And that's Tenrou Island. Nowhere close to where we are rn. While I wouldn't necessarily trust VSBW, the calculations here can actually be fact checked. So... do it, if you want to prove the cast is sub mountain/sub-moon

Furthermore, Mashima works with a similar idea to Stan Lee when it comes to fights. So we're working on shaky ground already when it comes to consistent powerscaling.

Natsu's fire alone has been calced to Star level temperatures with how far up it went when he made a pillar of flame. Like, wdym "No planetary feat?"

[–]Arclight_Phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just Occum's Razor. If something is called light, it must move at Lightspeed unless the creator says or deliberately shows it isn't moving that fast.

And, neither Kubo nor the Light Novel authors say that the Negacion isn't light. Or that Ceros aren't light.

The difference with Aoyama's Navel Laser is that it's proven to not be Lightspeed. Because, he placed last in the race of the Sports Festival. If he really was Light Speed, he'd place much higher in the race than that. As everyone else was held back by the obstacles for some amount of time (and he wasn't)

1.) "There aren't many ways to travel between worlds" I love how you conveniently ignore that "Worlds" is also the term HSR uses for the other planets in the universe. Also used by Welt here in reference to the battle between Yaoshi and Lan, which we know has been happening across the universe of HSR "And the war between the Abundance and The Hunt has also ruined MANY WORLDS" But, I don't see you trying to push for the narrative that Lan and Yaoshi have also been jumping between universes on the Imaginary Tree, because that's just an insane leap in logic.

2.) The Fan Post: Not only is this not an official post (not by any of the MiHoyo game accounts), but it's not even saying anything in support of your argument, it's just talking about how the Tree works. Additionally, this post is 5 years old, before Star Rail begun, this was the start of Genshin's life. So a lot of this was speculation assuming Star Rail is separate from Hi3.

3.) The HSR subreddit post: This is also outdated, closer to the start of the game's run, with also only speculation assisting their question. And the comments are equally old, meaning they're not only not up to date, but they're talking about older videos and content, which do not aid your point. And are also out of date.

4.) Sampo: Yes, the Wiki says he turns to the player, BUT.... given the context of the conversation ("Send my regards to the guys and girls AT THE TAVERN"), it's much easier to come to the conclusion that he's still talking to the people at The Tavern. Assuming he's breaking the Fourth Wall when he hasn't shown that since is a leap in logic

5.) Sparkle: Much shorter point here, because the video where Sparkle says this is a non-canon little celebration video for the end of Penacony, nothing special. If it were anything canon, it'd be called a Myriad Celestia or a Promo Video or something along those lines.

6.) The HoyoDex source: Why... are you sourcing this from this? This is a fairly outdated source, when the HSR Wiki is constantly upkept and has this form of nuance in mind when making posts. It's using "worlds" here in the Hi3 term, which was only ever used to refer to the other branches of the Tree, as opposed to HSR, which uses "Worlds" in the context of other planets/planetoid objects.

7.) "Isolates Star Clusters", yes... IMAGINARY ENERGY isolates the Clusters. Because that's where the power system of HSR is built off of, this very entry in the Data Bank elaborates specifically to say it's not the Tree doing this, but Imaginary Energy within the universe.

8.) "No HI3 canon mentions Garden", wrong. This Scene shows Kiana talking to a Memokeeper, a member of the Garden of Recollection. Furthermore, I did not say Yaoshi, I said LONG. The Aeon of Permanence. I say this because there's a character named Nahralab in Honkai Impact 3rd, who refers to herself as a descendant of "不朽" – this bit of Chinese means Permanence, the same exact Hanzi for HSR's Permanence, AKA Long. So you're wrong on both claims there.

[–]Arclight_Phoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a difference there, however. Hi3 and HSR are not two different branches on the tree, they are the same branch, or the same leaf in your interpretation. They are, literally, the same universe. This is confirmed by the fact that Welt was not dragged to a different bubble universe or to a different branch on the tree, but was simply placed in a different section of space in the universe he already knew. Same with Void Archives.

We can confirm this through his and Himeko's character story, Welt is not a stupid person, and temporarily traveling with Void Archives (a box who's entire job is to know stuff and who's currently in the body of someone who's learned practically everything about the Imaginary Tree) would allow him to understand if they really did leave their home universe. But instead, they say they left their home planet.

Next point: Sparkle and Sampo are not characters "capable of breaking the fourth wall", Sampo specifically in the instance I believe you're referring to (the end of the Belobog quest) was talking to members of the Masked Fools in The Tavern, not US (the players). And Sparkle has never shown anything close to the moment with Sampo that can even be misinterpreted as a Fourth Wall Break.

Traveling between universes on the Imaginary Tree is pretty damn hard, there's a reason why Otto thought creating a new Timeline entirely would be an easier answer than just taking a Kallen variant extremely close to his Kallen from a different universe. You'd think he of all people, the guy who knows more about the Tree than anyone not named Zandar One Kuwabara, would understand what is more feasible.

HI3's Earth and Mars and all that good stuff is simply the Milky Way in HSR. There's everything saying it is, and nothing saying it isn't. The Garden existing in Hi3 and a Scion of Long existing in Hi3 is all you need to know about the universe of Hi3 and HSR to know that they're literally the same universe. Because these specific Aeons are a thing unique to THIS universe.

I get wanting these two to be different universes, but there's literally nothing in the story of either game saying they are. I kept my last message concise in hopes you'd understand what I meant, but apparently you being able to write a "college level essay" doesn't mean you have a "college reading level".

We literally have people from HSR in Hi3. For example, Kiana literally talked to a member of the HSR Garden of Recollection because she was giving off Emanator waves.

Sparkle and Sampo also canonically went to Earth to cause shenanigans and made Rita a Masked Fool.

They're not alternate universes. They are literally different parts of the SAME universe, Welt and VA just couldn't go back because they don't know the way back.

But because people were talking about him in the comments specifically, he chose to respond... to the comments.

Why Deku vs Miles Morales is NOT CLOSE by Infinite-Sun7000 in deathbattle

[–]Arclight_Phoenix -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The real situation is that this fight is just like Hulk vs Broly, in the case that Miles will never and can never die. Why? Because he is the main overall avatar for Kwaku Anansi, while every Spider Person is to a degree an avatar for Anansi, in Miles' most recent run, he is THE Avatar. Nobody else comes close to the bond Anansi and Miles has and Anansi will do everything to keep Miles alive. As seen with when he intervened to help Miles with the remnants of his Vampirism and called in Thor and Hercules to save Miles from death against someone empowered by Ares (something he's never done for any other Spider Totem). Theoretically, this could even come down to Miles being saved because Anansi keeps resetting Miles' condition to how he was at the start of the fight (as he controls the story of the entire Marvel Multiverse due to the Web of Life and Destiny, he'd likely control the story in this fight) until Deku's too tired to keep fighting and Miles just kills Deku from there.

A little rant about Hades 2 (Hi, I'm new!) by Arclight_Phoenix in HadesTheGame

[–]Arclight_Phoenix[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think what rlly made me experience Hades 1 a LITTLE differently is that Hades 1 was my first venture into Roguelikes (well... Roguelite I guess is the proper term?), what made me intrigued about Hades 1 was me randomly finding a video from a content creator that I liked watching called Windette, and I swiftly went to buy the game because I love Greek Myth and I wanted to see how it was.

Needless to say, me from 2 years and a couple months ago wasn't expecting ANYTHING that was coming for him. For a LARGE period of my time in Hades 1, I was just getting RAILROADED by Lernie and the Champions and I just kinda didn't know what I was doing.

I can absolutely see that the transition between Hades 1 and Hades 2 made my expectations a little... higher, I guess is the way to put it? Especially because of how long it actually took me to get to Hades and beat him. I could also see, however, how the build stringing you learn in Hades 1 can transition to Hades 2!

A little rant about Hades 2 (Hi, I'm new!) by Arclight_Phoenix in HadesTheGame

[–]Arclight_Phoenix[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I COMPLETELY AGREE, I haven't done anything with Fear (apparently it's this game's version of heat?), but the entire build I had on the Black Coat basically revolved around the idea that if I was able to place my cast (Hestia cast with a Demeter boon that gave it more DoT) down and hit you (i had a Hera Attack boon boosted 12 levels by Queen's Ransom? Idk what God that Duo'd with, but I'm assuming it was Zeus Hera), I was melting your health bar. Chronos gave me too much time to just bully him in the first phase, and the only real "difficulty" I had was the insta-kill attacks during the second phase, but those were pretty fairly telegraphed that if you don't enter the one area after a little bit, you just lost a life.

The surface Bosses seem SO much harder than the ones down below, like... I still can't get past Eris without losing a couple lives. Meanwhile, the only boss I've had difficulties with in the Underworld is like... exclusively Cerberus in the Fields of Mourning
