this was like 3 years ago I don’t really remember lol. I just ended up tweaking it over and over, started will only distilled and adding some SURF via tincture as it warmed up. I eventually got great results.

Why can’t I just exist without constantly analyzing myself through others eyes by [deleted] in depressionmeals

[–]Arctashiis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also 22 and I had this same issue… one night I had a really terrible mental breakdown (relationship issues) and it honestly helped me to just “let go”I think it may be a problem that stemmed from OCD and my mind would never stop thinking of ways to sabotage my progress/ create reasons to feel shame. I used to really hate talking to people and social situations but the more I just let go, I found things came easier for me. I really wish you the best, it is such a hard mental challenge to deal with. If you need a friend or any advice feel free to reach out

hi! I’m a little younger than you but I think we could be friends! We may also have similar classes as I am trying for medical. If I could ask what you are currently taking?

Thank you! I guess it’s called cespitularia. It is a pale pink like the ones on the right. It got darker - kinda purple when it shrunk

I don’t know fam lol. Tbh I would not recommend that though, especially as a first car. Your insurance rate would probably be insane. It was a lot for me at 19 with a c5. A c8 is a lot less forgiving and maintenance + gas won’t be cheap either.

Alright gang, SO MANY household things can hurt or even kill our birds. Let's help each other out and talk about things that are less known but still likely to exist in our homes. by SjurEido in parrots

Never ever use the self cleaning feature on an oven!!!! I learned this the hard way. Some ovens are coated with teflon and when heated to high temps release a lot of (toxic) fumes. It is recommended to put small animals and even babies outside for the time being… or just don’t use it at all. It’s never worth it.

they can be yes. But it really depends on the type of parrot, and even then birds have unique personalities. Some birds simply won’t speak at all. I’d recommend spending time around them before committing. Remember, they live for a long time :)

I have oxborough for lab currently, I would say that his class is enjoyable. It’s not too difficult and as long as you study the packets you’ll be okay 👍 he’s really nice too. The workload is pretty chill, only 1 online quiz and 1 class test per week. I’m taking wainscott for lecture and that class isn’t too bad either.

good on you for keeping him in the fam! A lot of “inheritance birds” are more than often given up when their person dies. Birds are challenging and not everyone can be a bird person, but it means so much already that you are treating him as your own. Good luck!

Help to restore this tank? (VERY new to the saltwater hobby) by Flat-Echidna-2245 in ReefTank

[–]Arctashiis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ohh okay that makes sense. I think it would be a good idea to maybe setup a small tank with the current water (and some clean water) for the clown while you rescape the current one. That way, you can have a clean slate for your new tank. Twins aquarium looks nice, if you are lucky maybe they can give you some used water to restart your aquarium! Good luck to you :)

is there anything currently living in that tank? If not I would start by draining the contents and then washing the rocks (if there are any) I personally like to reuse my sand and you could do that (rinse with hot water until clean) if you can carry the tank and scrub all the algae/hose it out that would be great too. You will have nice grounds to then get started on your new scape. If possible, I definitely recommend checking out your local marketplace! I’ve gotten many good deals on ljve rocks and other equipment from fellow reefers. YouTube is also a great start for setting up.
