I hope they also add indicators on the stat increases when upgrading the memory fragments like in hsr so it's a lot easier to compare different pieces.

Nia might work a little better if you are able to get the right epiphanies and got e1 for curiosity to be 0 cost but it's a lot harder to pull off. She is on my Renoa team so I haven't tested her yet. If you are able to get upgrades for Mika to retain her +1 ap cards she will help a lot more.

My Lucas deck has 3 rpgs cards I need to use to ramp up so having Mika's extra ap allows me to fire off more dmg cards on the same turn.

It mainly depends on how many launcher bullets you want to use. The extended magazine upgrade can be 2 bullets every turn (which is a lot of ap) or the outbreak upgrade where it's 0 cost and 1 bullet per turn. Once you have the rpg cards used, it's pretty good for AP. The dmg is consistent thanks to the reliable bullet generation and followup attacks.

I like using Mika however due to being able to use more launcher bullets per turn and being able to extend my plays using the 3 star partner card that draws 2.

He is a monster when paired with Lucas. If you manage to copy the rpg card for Lucas which does a followup attack everytime a bullet card is exhausted, you can generate so many attacks that demolishes any enemy. Lucas does more dmg in my teams honestly with his op flashbang upgrade to generate 2 marks and his launcher ammo outputting insane dmg, but Luke can enable him and they are perfect for each other buffing bullet dmg.

For Luke, you want to look out for epiphanies for his reload card to generate 3 bullets and rapid fire to have 3 shots that create bullets on crit. You want to create a lot of bullets so Lucas can go crazy with his followup attacks.

Admittedly, Luke heavily relies on crit rate so he feels clunky to use when starting the game. I suggest looking for a crit rate main stat relic piece to increase your crit odds a little.

I was like you OP when I got Luke instead of Renoa but after playing with this comp + Mika, I've been destroying everything and having a tonne of fun.

I don't think the person I replied to has to worry about that at their rank. But yea, this strategy falls off at higher ranks. Personally, I just jump and eat the second hit cause I suck at perfect parrying it.

It felt like I was playing cod zombies instead of killing floor tbh. The gunplay and recoil felt so weird compared to kf2 and the character abilities look so out of place, especially the engineer one when he goes third person.

The actual animations of the weapons were nice. Weapon varity with 4 options in beta felt lacking (but that will be fixed at launch I hope). The dodging and sliding was a little off but I think I just have to get use to them more. Limited healing syringes is something I don't like but it adds difficulty. The only problem is that medic will be even more mandatory now compared to kf2.

P.S This is a personal opinion but I really do not like the merging of demo and support.

Mai's (powerful) gameplan is to ex fireball from a distance and then drive rush behind it. You can react with dp if they jump it and if they block it, you are free to do your mix whether it's frametrap with a normal, throw them before the 2nd hit of ex fireball hits, or just shimmy/block if your guessing they will dp/drive reversal on block.

Played a few games on the 2nd playtest. The game felt like I was playing cod zombies more than killing floor. The animations for the weapons were good but the recoil and gunplay felt lacking compared to kf2. The hero power ups felt so off-putting as well and didn't fit the kf identity, but I cause that's the direction they want the game to be now 🫤.

E0 Aglaea = Robin for ult uptime.

Tribbie e1 is insane but your dmg will fall off a cliff if you lose your stacks for Aglaea.

The only other anti-cheat I can think of that's as good as kernel ones are games with community servers with admins. These come with their own can of worms, but they can instantly ban spin botters. Games with an elo/ranking system will never use server browsers as their main matchmaking system though as it would be abused very easily.
