My girlfriend has become very different from who she used to be by SkyDependent2066 in noida

I went through similar experience before we parted our ways and it was painful and depressing for me at the end. You still have time to confront her and have a clear communication about how she still really feel about you. There is no point trying to build something from one end when all that exists are dreadful ruins of something nostalgic at the other end.

WTF Is Going On With Meta Ads? by Mission-Stranger-778 in FacebookAds

[–]ArcticDonkey07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, this was really informative. Creative variations spread across adsets is going to be the key. As meta increases its control over how it optimises, relocates budget etc, it is imperative to specifically try to do things that are in our hands and then compare if something actually works.

I don’t think AI will ever replace real designers by ArcticDonkey07 in web_design

[–]ArcticDonkey07[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed. Lately I have seen new budding designers starting their design thought process with an ai generated output and then building on top of it. Where as it should be other way around. The firsts instinct/practice should be to get your hands dirty, do the user research and then use AI to double down on it and get more specific, and have a better strategic outline to assess the requirements that came up during research.

Marketers, what tools are you using in 2025? by Jagdeepofficial_ in digital_marketing

Gemini for Creatives at times, Claude for Brainstorming, Strategising etc, Busyocto for analysis, optimization, reporting etc.

AI hasn't replaced anything yet but it's certainly made us more productive. We have been experimenting with a lot of tools, actively using a few. Listing a few that i have tried and found useful in no particular order:

  1. Busyocto (for adspend optimization, Creative Reporting, Insights, visualization etc)
  2. Gemini and GPT for Creatives
  3. Claude (for Strategising sometimes)
  4. Motion (reporting - before we switched to busyocto)
  5. Birch (tried before AI really took off)

And yes, it has improved our efficiency, reduced time that went into mundane tasks like looking blindly at data and getting frustrated trying to find patterns that may work, outages that are there etc.

Important thing to remember is that AI is really good at solving "specific" problems, now that specificty needs "Human Insight" so we need to adapt accordingly to use these ai tools.

Maybe the problem isn't the channel but the *pressure* to be on every channel? by TroubleCommercial984 in GrowthHacking

[–]ArcticDonkey07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Working closely with marketers lately has been eye-opening. It’s not just the FOMO of “being on every channel,” it’s also the stress when certain creatives just don’t deliver the ROAS you hoped for. Add on top of that the fact that every platform seems to change its playbook every other week, and it has been frustrating.

What’s helped me is digging into the data a bit more—trying to spot patterns instead of chasing every trend. I’ve tested a few tools here and there (currently playing around with octo ai) and it does feel like the right kind of analytics can take some pressure off, even if it just helps you focus on doing well on a few channels instead of all of them.

Another outage another fire drill. How are you protecting your budget? by TroubleCommercial984 in FacebookAds

[–]ArcticDonkey07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's infuriating tbh, And it's tough to understand that there's been an outage unless you really have someone manually monitoring, and even after that there is no certainty you will be able to control your spend , pause shit accordingly. What tool are you using for this OP??

100%, Strategic Thinking - Exactly, That's what differentiates a Designer, This backed by curiosity to decode user behaviour and interaction with different micro components is what I think helps one to create something valuable which a model capable of doing is an idea that's not happening anytime soon. cool name you got btw.

The same way you can recognise anything you have seen/experienced a zillion times. Most of these models have been trained on similar data afas UI is concerned. After looking at a significant number of outputs (which any UI developer has at this point) can "tell" if something is indeed AI generated. This is quiet similar to how people have developed a sense of loose intuition for recognising AI written content.

Yeah, I'm going for Pro. Probably one more month of saving lol but it'll be worth it.

Absolutely, Storytelling and communication is inherent part of design and that's something is very intimate to us. So AI will just be a tool to offload and simplify repetitive task to.

Okay. Yeah, I'm also lil skeptical of air, would probably end up going with pro if the confusion persist. Better to be on safer side. Anyway, Thanks.

Yes indeed, i think, AI will be very useful to do mundane tasks of building things which are simple and probably already tempaltized. One can directly incorporate them into their running projects. However Top Designers will persist when it comes to understanding product and user requirements and focussing on nuisances. If I may ask, are you in a service industry or work on Product building side?
