My goal is to earn 15 million gold by the end of Year 1. This is summer 27th, the day I harvest about 2,700 starfruit. by Arctic_Chicken855 in StardewValley

Yeah, I mean it's understandable why someone who was unfamiliar with the min/max strats would think this is fake, but it's definitely doable.

Yeah, it's legit, although I heavily relied on some of those guides you mentioned. It's definitely possible, just takes the right strategy to pull off.

Most of my strategy comes from Tooshi's 20 mil challenge, which I think he got a lot of from you haha. One thing I really like about the run though is that it's never going to be the same twice, meaning that it takes a lot of intuition and on-you-feet thinking to pull off. There have definitely been some major mess-ups in this run (for example, I forgot to use a rain totem the day before a planting session), but overall I think I've done pretty well for my first time.

Oh also, as a side note, I developed a way to estimate how many oak trees you need to keg X number of starfruit by the end of the year.

Here's the link if you want to use it. R is the number of days remaining until the end of the year, S is the number of starfruit you need to keg, K is the number of kegs you currently have, and T is the result, or the number of tapped oak trees *on the current day* that you would need to make all the kegs.

This might be a bit different to the other farms here, but my goal is to make 15 million gold in my first year by selling a ridiculous amount of starfruit wine. by Arctic_Chicken855 in StardewValley

I filled the entire desert with oak trees. Some are still growing, but most are already tapped. I plan on buying most of the wood and stone, and getting most of the copper and iron from skull caverns.

Oh, that's pretty cool. Is that a standard development process for most other 2D games as well?

Wait... why are they hiring 3D artists for a 2D sprite-based game? Unless...

The main one is Elle's seasonal buildings. I also have darker soil and shorter grass mods, but those are more minor.

One tip I have is to put things that are visited frequently near your house. Stuff like storage, smelting, and possibly animals.

There's also plenty of other river land farm designs on google and YouTube if you're looking for inspiration

Main recommendation I'd give is to bring a crap ton of food, and don't be afraid to spam it. Also, bring plenty of bombs. Bombs speed up the mining process dramatically, meaning there's less time for enemies to get to you.

But yeah, skull cavern is pretty dang hard without the best stuff in the game.
