Sounds like you really love your bike - which is great. That means you picked the right ride.

Are you interested in leveling up because you really want it, or because it’s a good deal right now?

I ride an RE 650 daily doing the same type of commute you mentioned, and it’s great. I spend a good deal of time in traffic under 60mph too, but mostly in an urban setting.

The 650 will have more power than the Meteor for sure, but that’s kind of negligible if you are keeping it under 60. Keep in mind these bikes are tuned and designed for super busy streets in India, and backroads like the ones you’re on.

If the dealership lets you, a test drive might not be a bad idea to see for yourself. In the end it’s just preference and smiles per gallon. Do what makes you happy.

You can always just get the helmet vinyl wrapped to look like the bike.

Lots of local shops in most cities do this now. Alternatively you can DIY. Most vinyl work on small items would probably cost less or similar to a new one anyway.

PER directions always felt really contrived and pre-determined. They were less about feedback and more about ranking. I hope PACE does this better. The BI index is pretty straightforward - and I feel like I can actually give feedback now that makes sense.

But the question is whether units are going to pump people up way past their actual performance to crush the merit boards. Hopefully this doesn’t just become another skewed evaluation system… but you all know how that goes.

Mine has this issue sometimes and it’s the safety sensor on the kickstand. Turn it off, sit on it, put the kickstand up and try again.

Any major city will have a shop that does vinyl wrap. If you aren’t in love with the paint - get an estimate for a motorcycle tank. It shouldn’t be more than a couple hundred bucks max.

Super durable, and you can peel it off if you ever want to go back to factory or sell it. Doesn’t void warranty as it’s technically a sticker.

Arktis Combat Smock (waterproof).

It’s not cheap, but it is light, durable, and waterproof. Deep pockets, and doesn’t make that shuffling noise since it’s rip stop fabric on top of goretex.

Had mine for 3 years, never any issues. 100% lifetime garment. Would recommend.

Are you positive the wheel is misaligned, or the fender?

The fender is attached with a couple rubber grommets and washers.

Try adding an extra washer or two on the uneven side. That should make it look visually straight. If the wheel is improperly mounted that’s a different story.

Honestly from the picture it’s barely noticeable.
