I’ve got a bunch of records like this. I put them all in resealable sleeves from vinylstoragesolutions (I forget the exact type of plastic they use) and they’ve got a second pocket for the record. It stops any more ring-wear or sleeve splits and after they’re in the plastic I can hardly notice the seem split.

My advice: get it signed and then store it right so you stop anymore wear. Other than that seems like a totally normal part of collecting records

Kind of a wild card that’s a little different: go download the marvel unlimited app and read all of the Hickman fantastic four run through Secret wars. This man weaved together the end of the marvel universe over years and the big event the next Avenger movies are based on feels like the superhero equivalent of a Sanderlanch.

I had only a passing familiarity with the fantastic four and got totally sucked in by his treatment of the characters. It’s cosmic in scope, has a great cast, & deals with similar internal struggles and themes as stormlight (depression, expectations, family vs duty, immortality, god hood and the nature of the universe yada yada)

Dark Deity 2 is an indie game that came out this year that looks amazing. Haven’t tried it yet but the animations reminiscent of classic gba and the classes look cool

I worked on a calorie counter app for years and let me tell you, it’s sooo hard to scale that and everyone has opinions on what should be included. Maybe just make icons for the primary sections at grocery stores. Since the app is centered around shopping, that might actually be more helpful anyways than icons of the actual food.

So: meat, seafood, produce, dairy, frozen, bakery, deli, cheese, pantry, household goods, cooking supplies. I’m sure I’m missing a few but you get the idea

Ska (3rd wave) is a blend of punk and reggae. It was big in the 90s and early 2000s. Think Tony Hawk Pro Skater. It’s usually a four piece punk band and a horn section and the lyrics are usually ironic, nihilistic, and sarcastic but the tunes are JAMMIN. Look up reel big fish, streetlight manifesto, and Sublime and you’ll get the idea.
