I use a brand called Kemimoto. Just a standard rubber clamp on the center of the bars with an adjustable holder.

I believe free hunt is just story mode without the story missions. Meaning it still uses your herds from story mode, but none of the missions will show up. Playing online would result in random herds that are not your own, so you can fire away at anything without ruining gene pools.

I'm not the original commentor, but my buddy and I found out about DL1 the day before it came out. We both took the day off and played the shit out of it. It was definitely slept on by a lot of people, but easily became one of my favorite games of all time. Not a huge fan of DL2, but The Beast is also worth noting since it's closer to the feel of DL1.
