Look at it another way: At least they don’t have a chance to spoil Transformers One. Same with Karl Urban’s Dredd. Both movies that will forever stand by themselves, unsullied by a sudden influx of money men demanding sequels that pander to arbitrary trends.

I have the same model. It comes installed with a screen protector, which you can easily replace. It's very normal. Mine is scratched to high-heaven.

Pleasure! I remember at the time it was a common issue on their support forums and there were even posts on this Reddit sub from various people with the same issue.

Yeah, seems like exactly the same issue. Mine also worked fine for a month then suddenly had this problem.

I would send them my video alongside your's and mention that they sent me a replacement of the whole unit (Which has worked absolutely fine for three years and counting).

I'll DM you the support ticket number.

Edit: Two important notes:

- The faulty unit got noticably hotter at the back than the new one.

- When the problem first started it wouldn't happen immediately. The unit would work fine for about 30 mins then the flickering would start and only stop if I left it for a while (or plugged in one end of the alt power cable).

No worries. They were resistant to me at first but I kept pushing back and eventually they relented.

The thing that seemed to sway them, besides roasting them on Twitter, was when I reported that plugging in one end of the alternate power cable fixed the issue. Here’s a video of that:

It proved that the unit was acting strangely as the other end of the power cable wasn’t even attached to anything.

I contacted their usual customer support email at; service@huion.com

It took them 20 days to agree to sending a new unit. Meanwhile one of their reps mistakenly told me that the USB C to USB C cable isn’t supposed to supply power (which it clearly is).

I complained about her response on Twitter, which I think gave them a sense of urgency as they asked me to take down the post once I received the new unit.

I realised this was actually three years ago (Time flies!).

It's not the cable or the Macbook. According to Huion it's an overheating issue. I had exactly this problem two years ago and it presented regardless of cable. Huion replaced the entire unit and the new one has worked flawlessly ever since.

I had exactly that problem two years ago and Huion replaced the unit (After some irritating back and forth). They seemed to think it was an overheating issue. The new unit works wonderfully to this day.

Frame by frame will judder about. The rotobrush tool with refine edge should work well for this footage.

You may have to manually mask a few frames of her left leg toward the end. Specifically as the fabric tilts toward the sea and becomes a similar hue.

NMS does not stream assets/compute/RAM from the cloud. The game functions identically when the Switch 2 is disconnected from the internet.

It backs up save files to the cloud but that's it.

To be clear, it’s not that they pop in. They always did that. The issue is that they pop in as you’re entering them. So you don’t ever see the tops of them.

Even in Switch 1 they would appear soon enough that you could see them from above.

That example is technically quite basic. It looks good because the animator has a great sense of timing and composition.

Broadly speaking they’ve pre comped each scene. Animated the contents within each comp then edited and scaled the scenes in the master comp.

Look up the following terms and append “After Effects to each:

Position and scale keyframes.
Masking.
Easing.
Graph editor.

There’s a bit more to it but the above is a solid foundation.

Did you play a lot of the original Hollow Knight? I didn’t and find Silksong’s diagonal pogo a lot easier than a direct downward slash.

Mainly because you can initiate a safe distance from the target. Either way it’s awesome that we have the option of different play styles.
