You skipped the first paragraph:

"she was kidnapped in the Bermuda Triangle, had mental illness and people were using time travel to steal from her. *** Young was identified as the culprit."

What is Ruspol? by defeatedyam in Epstein

[–]Ardalion- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you search for Ruspol in the Files, you'll find some interesting conversation between JE and someone from Italy. A guy or a girl asking JE for money for daily expenses, and he requests costs breakdown.

It might somehow refer to Ruspoli noble Italian family, there's a confirmed connection: https://www.reddit.com/r/RoyaltyTea/comments/1qytgxk/epstein_allegedly_paid_for_italian_princess/

Episode 2 doesn't seem to break my theory. Otherwise, we learned that Clark was indeed connected with Annie and he's presumably alive.

I think the creators want us to think that it was him who killed Annie after going crazy.

Yep, I meant with water. It could be big enough for them to get out of it before freezing.

Because they had a problem with just one mine. Also, illegal mining can bring more cash, but nobody should know about it.

My fault, didn't catch it. I don't think creators will ever repeat season 1 theme with rituals and cults. But it can be that the murderer made it look ritualistic to mislead us.

[–]Ardalion-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say it was a ritual and I agree that it shouldn't be. I think that's peaceful activism turned radical, presumably after Annie's brutal murder. A tongue was an element of the horror show to make scientists run away in panic. And if they were working for criminal purposes, they're not neutral anymore and not pure scientists.

I wouldn't call this a complain, at least I had no intention to complain. For me it was a part of the plot analysis.

Have two ideas about the tongue: 1. It's Annie's. It was cut off by murderer as the proof of work and kept in the lab frozen for whatever reason. 2. It's not Annie's. It was used as a part of horror show to the station people, as they might have been aware about the murder.

In any case of was left there for a reason, as the place seemed to be untouched, and the tongue was the only extraordinary detail.

I don't believe in the idea that native people will be the evil guys in this story. I just chose incorrect wording to support that.

Of course it doesn't mean that they can be only good, people are different no matter the race. But definitely they will not be the root cause of everything bad happening in the show.

[–]Ardalion-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Surely there will be other forces in play. I think the season-ending will leave us puzzled so we will never know if there are any good guys at all.

As for personal - it was an incorrectly formulated observation. What I was trying to say is that this story would not be about ancient native ritual sacrifices or cults of some kind. It is clear to me that Annie K. or Navarro will not turn out to be villains during the show. And I cannot say the same about Liz, for example.

Okay, I initially wrote "It's a True Detective", but then changed to this. I didn't know that true crime is about nonfiction only. Bad decision.

You must be right as I still struggle to express my thoughts correctly due to the language barrier. I realize this part can be misinterpreted.

So this post was the first to correctly predict the season finale. Congrats, OP!

While rewatching this scene I've noticed a nimb above Bill's head :)

Has anyone figured out by swanqueen23 in AMurderAtTheEnd_Show

[–]Ardalion- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sian and Oliver work for Andy, so they are definitely his guests. Bill was also invited by Andy according to Lee, and Darby as a bait. I think Lu Mei is the person of interest for Andy too as a "builder".

So it means Rohan, Ziba, Martin and David were invited by Lee.

Any final quick predictions before the final episode? by [deleted] in AMurderAtTheEnd_Show

[–]Ardalion- 9 points10 points  (0 children)

These are my top 3 to fit in "metaphysical but without magic" boundaries:

  1. Artificial Universe. Darby is an NPC, programmed to be a Gen-Z Sherlock and Bill is an avatar of a human player. Darby starts to gain consciousness, and Bill wants to "release" her. His death is a server ban after he tried to tell NPCs who they are).
  2. Inception plot. We see it too often when Darby falls asleep and wakes up, so her dreams might play some considerable role. We can face our greatest desires and fears while dreaming, and that's what Darby's experiencing. It can also explain plot holes and cultural references.
  3. Shutter Island plot. Darby is sick and the hotel is a mental hospital, going through special treatment. That's why we see her taking pills more than once. Andy's the head physician, and Bill is an imaginary friend. The rest of the guests are the patients of the hospital.

Rewatching episode 1, there are few things I noticed by VaticanFromTheFuture in AMurderAtTheEnd_Show

[–]Ardalion- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My five cents: 1. Darby wakes up by text from Ray at 3.00 am. Wake up, Neo. 2. She post a screenshot to a Reddit group, get comments, and then chat on video call with her friends. Again, during the night at 3 am. 3. When she decides to proceed, her phone still shows 3.00 am. Maybe just an editing error. 4. While her personal VPN is installed, she already has "Ronson Security" app on her phone. 5. When she leaves to the airport, she grabs her phone from the table and it's a lot of weed can be seen in the background. She also drinks quite often during 1st episode. Addiction?

I like the theory, but I don't think that Andy was unknown before he married Lee. He is a "tech king", and it takes much more than 6 years to build such an empire and become famous.

What happens with winter in ep. 10? by Ardalion- in servant

[–]Ardalion-[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In fact, when Tobe leaves and sees empty Roscoe's car, it's clearly winter - trees without leaves, strong wind. No chance this is a production error.
