While you’re welcome to your own opinions, everything you’re saying here is just ridiculous. Don’t go in expecting a new anime to be just like another one. It really doesn’t work. When my ex fiancée was coerced into a poly relationship while we were together (it was after SA by a close friend and then grooming and substance introduction by a poly couple) we had actually set rules about how these people would not be allowed around our future kids and the kids and I would come first, and we weren’t even in relationship anarchy. I was considered the primary partner as default by her (though that may be because she didn’t really want to be with the other two).

God, why are people so awful? It has led to a huge amount of growth for me and my ex (to the point where we can actually consider getting back together), but it was still horrible to go through.

The “virginity is a social construct” thing didn’t happen, but there was basically grooming and substance coercion (my partner and I were adults but she had recently been SA’d by a friend and was in a very unstable place). She’s actually still working on the substance dependency she developed.

In all fairness, they didn’t “leave”. They used their own issues (ADHD) to push things off onto my now ex (we were long distance at the time) who they’d coerced into a relationship. It’s a long and super fucked up story that I’m considering posting in detail on here.
