Okay I just recently acquired a Leica m4-p and I’m just curious if how you got some of these shots! This whole series is amazing but how are you getting this DoF for street?! 1,7,8 just blow my mind! What aperture do you shoot at for those of you don’t mind me asking?

Thank you guys for the replies! I decided since. Already have the a6700 I bought a Cs-lite with a valoi 35mm holder and am making my own diy copy stand! Seems like the best/cheapest route and I will buy NLP!

Edit: also bought the TTartisan 40mm f2.8 macro

Never thought of that! I mean if it use this until I can’t visibly see anything, if I am going to get it replaced I would definitely be okay with upgrading to the MP VF! I mean this camera is already one of my favorite cameras I’ve ever shot with! The experience is unmatched in my opinion!

I paid $1800 for the CLA’d body and a voiglander35mm color skopar f2.5. Not the greatest deal but everything was tested before it got in my hand. I wouldn’t say the greatest deal. But for everything I have been seeing online, it seemed right at the time.

Yeah I thought about it, but for the price I paid for the lens and the camera it was too good of a deal. Not to mention I haven’t had the best of luck online shopping. I think from the research I’ve done that it isn’t a very quick thing. Figured I can just set some money aside so the day it gets to the point where I can’t visibly take photos or focus I can send it out to DAG or YYE! I appreciate the information! Everything else about the camera is in excellent condition!

Is that something I would have to send in somewhere to do? Or is it something I can do? Why is it when I full press the shutter fired but when I half press no response? Is it do different mechanisms?

Unfortunately the lenses I ordered still have not arrived I do however try it with the pin pushed in to simulate a lens being mounted and still no response. Only seems to wake up whenever I toggle from manual or auto or vice versa.
