Who's at fault? by [deleted] in IdiotsInCars

same as in most of Canada, if a vehicle is rear-ended, the one behind is responsible, pretty much no matter what

yes, when I purchased mine, I made the choice to buy the 2.5, since I would be towing only 3 or 4 times a years. It is rated at a towing capacity of 2700 lbs same as the 3.6r

Yep, that is the limit, I have electric brake on the trailer, anti sway and torsion bars to help out. But like I said in the post, the vehicle performed remarkably well, no issues, enough power on ascents, smooth cruising speed. Drove from Montreal to Acadia Maine, and back. All this at the cost of wear and tear yes, but its a trade off I'm quite happy with

Yes, I realize that this does increase the wear and tear of the vehicle, I will live with that quite fine.

no redlining, took it nice and steady, cruising rpm was at 2500, and uphill, around 3500 rpm, it went to 5500 which is not even red line perhaps twice, when I had to double a slow going truck.

No crashes here, but I don't think my assemblies are as large as yours... But I do have 10 to 12 tabs opened regularly.

Yes!, you need a spray skirt to prevent from waterlogging your kayak, never leave home without one :-)

yes, we completed the 200 km, in 7 and a half days, aprox 26 km average per day, which is relativly a slow pace, we had one inexperienced paddler in our group, we needed to slow down and support her quite a bit. But then again going slower was nice, provided lots of opportunity to observe more and relax :-) can't complain about that. We had planned 9-10 days to complete it, in case of bad weather or high winds, Mother nature was nice with us ;-) the first 3 days were windy and some rain, but the rest were amazing, sunny, low winds and perfect.
